Chapter 39- Taste of freedom

"You know you can stop jumping your leg up and down. It's quite annoying" Calum explained as I shot him a glare. I was allowed to be nervous. I had arrived in LA a few hours ago and now I'm in a law firm with three idiots, Ashton, my Aunts Julia and Katie and twins inside my stomach just to hear the process of getting a restraining order. God why did I let so many people come? Sierra, Niall and Crystal wanted to come but I begged them to keep an eye on Bailey and Buddie.

"Calum stop threatening the pregnant girl or she will step on your foot" Luke warned while staring at his phone. Calum just huffed in annoyance before laying his head on my shoulder. God I was going to kill Calum one for these days. He reminded me of Zeke which was probably his intent from the beginning.

"I want a coffee! Your boss said we can have a coffee so stop lying to me"

"And I'm telling you the coffee machine is broken and we only hand them out to clients" The recpetionist explained for the tenth time to Michael. God they were all gonna be killed by me. Maybe I should change their names to the unsocial one, the loud one and the dramatic one... that would probably describe all three of them together actually.

"That makes no sense cause your drinking one right now so where did you get it"

"Starbucks down the road"

"That's not even a starbucks cup" Michael shouted as I rolled my eyes at him. Too be fair Michael was right. It wasn't a starbucks cup but I wasn't gonna agree with him cause hes giving me a massive headache and I think Aunt Katie agreed with me.

"Alex just get the loud man-baby a coffee" She ordered as Alex the receptionist nodded before standing up. I then chuckled noticing Aunt Julia pouting at her wife which Aunt Katie saw. "And two teas please"

"I want a cofee as well"

"Make that three coffees"

"Actually four" Luke, Calum and Ashton asked as Alex just huffed in annoyance before turning to me and forcing a fake smile.

"Would you like a coffee as well"

"Can I have water? If you have flavoured I will have anything but Lemon and lime" I answered as Alex nodded while probably being thankful I didn't ask for a fifth coffee or a third tea. He then turned to my Aunt Katie.

"Mrs Wolfe would you like me to bring the biscuit tubs over as well" Alex asked as Aunt Katie thought for a moment. She then looked at us all before nodding. Michael and Calum were both nodding their heads madly due to their addiction to food.

Alex then walked off but not before grumbling a few words under his breath at Michael. But Michael didn't care cause he was too excited that he was offered food. He then plopped him self on Calums legs cause Calum had decided to lay on the chairs instead of sitting normally.

"So what is this Jack like? Is he good at his job unlike Alex?" Michael asked which caused Aunt Julia to chuckle while Aunt Katie just glare at him. She didn't look pleased cause I think she expected my friends to be more like me and not like... Adrien and Zeke.

"Alex does do his job well Michael. He just needs to learn to not lie. Anyway Jack is one of the partners of the firm"

"And my amazing wife is the other partner to Wolfe and Torres law firm. But if I remember your interviewing for a third partner" Aunt Julia responded as Aunt Katie just nodded her head. It honestly amazed me that their were two lawyers in the family. It didn't stop most of us doing illegal shit from time to time.

"That we are and we have some amazing applicants to choose from" Aunt Katie explained before the sounds of a door opening caught our attention. We all turned our heads and stared at the person. My eyes widened when I saw how young he looked. He was no doubt older than me but looked the same age as Luke. Was he actually trained in this or-
