Chapter 58 - Wedding bells

--- Melodys pov (28th April)---

Today was the day my Dad and Naomi were getting married and we all thought it was going to be a peaceful time with no worry. It was their second wedding after all.

"Here you go dear! I assume your Dad and Naomi have wedding jitters" Father Donovan questioned as I just nodded before taking the seat he got me. It was a chair from his office.

Me, Ashton, Michael, Alex and Adrien were the only ones at the front of the church with Father Donovan. My Dad and Naomi weren't late but my Dad should have been here at least. Then their was the issue of the other brides maids and grooms men. Where the fuck were they?

The guests were here. Cousins, friends, Uncles and Aunts, siblings, my Dads old English teacher and work colleagues. But no bride, groom and others.

I then looked at the others. Adrien was whispering things to Alex and I honestly didn't need to hear what was being said. The redness of Alex's face confirmed what I already knew.

Michael was on the phone. He had spent the last five minutes trying to get a hold of Crystal. That was until he remembered she had left her phone in Zeke's car. So he was now trying to call Zak or Sierra.

Ashton was mouthing things to Anne who couldn't quite understand what he was mouthing. I didn't blame her cause I'm sure he mouthed "shed" and "burger king" at one point.

"Mum go and see if Naomi is ok" Ashton eventually shouted due to finally having enough. I just chuckled watching Anne quickly stand up and walk out the room. I then smiled at Ashton who just huffed in annoyance.

"You could be nicer your not the easiest to lip read"

"I literally said "hey go and see if Naomi is ok" what is so hard to understand?"

"Well I thought you said "Burger King, shed, sex, Calum's smelly feet" I answered as he just chuckled before shaking his head at me.

"Why would I mention sex and Calums feet to my Mum?"

"I don't know why did you?"

"Well I didn't. I actually mentioned your smelly feet"

"Can you two love birds stop being disgusting? At least save it for your own wedding" Adrien shouted before I glared at him in repsonse.

"Says the one saying sexual shit in a church"

"Oh how dare you accuse me of doing that! I would never think of saying sexual things in a church. Especially in front of sweet Father Donovan"

"Shes not wrong Adrien you were saying sexual things"

"Ok who's side are you really on? Hers or mine Alex" Adrien asked Alex who shrugged his shoulders in response. That then caused a new argument to sprout. I just chuckled before glancing back at the entrance way. Were they both nervous?

I didn't have to wait long for an answer.

"Luke stop speed walking. You need to act normal so we don't throw suspicion"

"Sierra I will when we get to Melody"

Luke and Sierra both came hurrying down the isle. A look of worry was crystal clear on their faces. Yep my Dad and Naomi were both nervous.

"Please tell me they both are outside the church at least" I asked once Sierra and Luke walked over to us. But when only Luke nodded his head I just groaned in repsonse. Of course only my Dad was here.

"Your Dad has to talk to Ashton about something before he can come in. I assume hes giving Naomi time to cal-"

"Shut it Luke. Ashton go and see my Dad before I scream. Michael come on your driving" I shouted before pushing past Sierra and Luke. I had enough of this. Someone is being married and it's either going to be my Dad and Naomi or... me and Ashton if it comes to it.
