Chapter 26 - new family members

--- Melody's pov---

"Buddies calm down" Calum chuckled from the back of the car as I turned and glanced at him. I chuckled at him too as the puppy in his hands started licking at his face.

We were on our way home and I was excited. I missed Ashton and I wanted to show him Buddie. I also wanted to show him the other sleeping puppy on my lap. Yes we got two. The one on my lap which I named Bailey, was for me and Ashton. Buddie was a present to them all. A present to Calum and Michael for being my best friends, a present to Sierra and Crystal for being kind to me and Lucy and a present to Luke for caring about me.

"Oh wow for once when the others are here I can actually park in my own driveway" Anne mocked before sending a glare to Calum. He however was too busy getting licked by Buddie to respond.

As soon as Anne parked the car Bailey woke up and started barking and getting excited. I just chuckled before opening the car door. Bailey jumped off my lap and waited for me to get out. Buddie however wasn't so well behaved.

"Buddie! Buddie get back here! Buddie listen to me" Calum shouted before quickly getting out the car and chasing after Buddie. Me and Anne just chuckled at the two.

"Buddie has there crazy excitment" Anne pointed out as we waited for Calum to come back with Buddie. Calum didn't come back with Buddie. The dog arrived back first with a tired and out of breath Calum not far behind.

"Why did... you agree on getting... a second dog... for" Calum questioned while taking gigantic breaths of air. I chuckled harder before opening one of the bags on Anne's arms and handing him a bottle of water. He took it and didn't wait a second before drinking it all.

"Better" I asked as he nodded quickly and madly. Buddie and Bailey both barked as I smiled at them. Two dogs, A Ashton Irwin and a baby on the way... yeah I can make it work.

"Let's get these two inside and find a place for their doggy beds. We have guests waiting" Anne reminded as me and Calum both nodded. Bailey and Buddie followed after us with Anne shortly behind. She had given Calum both bags cause its payment for giving him a ride.

"I'm home Ashton my sugar plum, my cotton candy, my... hotdog water" Calum cried in a high pitch voice. I think he was trying to mimic me. I then held back a chuckle as I led him into the kitchen so he can leave the bags on the side. The dogs being quiet for once... well Buddie was quiet for once.

"You couldn't have done cute names like sexy or Cutie pie... who calls their boyfriend hotdog water" I questioned in a whisper as Calum shrugged his shoulders. I just rolled my eyes before I started to take out the bowls and other things.

"Who left their shoes in the hallway" Anne shouted as Calums eyes widened. He then smirked at me which caused me to worry about what he was going to do.

"Oh sorry my sweet soon to be mother in law. I'll move my stinky shoes out of the way. God being pr-OW" Calum shouted in a high pitch cry because I stomped on his foot hard. He just glared at me while I stood their with a smirk.

"You can poke fun at mine and Ashtons relationship all you want, you can joke about Ashton asking me to marry him but do not bring up the P word"

Calum just nodded his head. I regretted accidently letting slip about the pregnancy and two more were added to the already big enough list. It was bad enough Anne knew. Then I told Calum cause it just slipped out when Bailey starte licking me. Dogs are very good at distracting owners.

It did cause Calum's brain to explode. But that was only for a good five seconds before he started firing questions at me.
