Chapter 9- Flying

- Ashtons pov (october 10th)-

I want to lie and say the last two weeks in London have been amazing... but that's lying and lying is bad.

Melody has been acting different. When I mean different, shes been more closed off and secretive. She didn't repsond to our texts, calls and somehow disappeared off the face of the world.

I actually thought she was just a dream figure that we all imagined untill I saw her and Ethan at the airport.

I wasn't the only one who had noticed her cause Michael and Calum ran up to her and hugged her.

That now brings us to now. Were now sitting and waiting to board the plane to LA. Melody and Ethan were also going to LA with Meldoys younger brother... step brother.... his name is Zak thats all I know.

"Catch the cool looking ones" Michael pleaded as he leaned over Zaks shoulder. I think Zak was playing pokémon.

Both Zak and Michael became friends quickly which slowly started to annoy the rest of us cause of their screaming.

"I'm trying to say goodbye to someone, can you both lower your volumes" Calum asked. Michael and Zaks response was a middle finger before they went back to their game.

"How hard is it to just type 'goodbye' Cal"

"Stop it Luke let him say goodbye to Lucy without you making fun of him" Sierra muttered as Luke groaned.

"But no one else would have. Michael is distracted by his new gaming buddy, Crystal went to buy a magazine to hit Michael with and Ashton, Melody and Ethan are having a stare off" Luke shouted as I shook my head.

We weren't having a stare off... well I was staring at Melody but she wasn't staring at me. Ethan was one hundred percent staring at me however. I have no clue who Melody was staring at... maybe a wall.

"I'm gonna go and get myself something to eat. Does anyone wanna join me" Ethan asked with a smile. I didn't repsond cause my phone was more important.

It wasn't really more important. I was spamming Melody with texts cause I worry about my friends.

"You had me at food" Zak and Michael both shouted with massive grins. Me and Melody both chuckled.

"Michael make sure he doesn't eat too much sugar. I don't want him bouncing off the walls on the plane" Melody asked hoping the two of them were paying any attention to her.

"Yes lots of sugar good. If Crystal asks where we are tell her... I don't know, somewhere " Michael answered. Melody then sighed watching the two running off after Ethan.

"Do you want me to text Crystal to remind Michael no sugar"

"No Sierra its fine. Ethan is with them and I... trust him" Melody explained as Sierra nodded. Me and Sierra gave each other a look that read 'shes-lying'.

"I think I'll need a new book for the plane ride... come on Luke" Sierra shouted before standing up. Luke who was confused what was happened eventually shrugged his shoulders before standing up.

"Ashton can you look after our things for us" Sierra asked as I nodded. I know she didn't actually need me to. Her face read a different message.

"You can trust me"

"Good, now come on Luke"

Once the two were gone I quickly stood up and plopped myself in the seat next to Melody. Calum was near the others things even if he was on his phone.

"Mels... have I done something to make you hate the others"

She stopped staring at a wall and turned to me. Melody actually looked like she was trying to process a hard maths question.
