The next day, a parade was held at the Telmarine castle for me and Caspian's coronation.

People stood in the streets or watched through their windows, and cheered as we made our way through the winding roads.

The Telmarine kingdom had a new light to it, the sun was shining, garlands adorned the streets, and bright red and gold flags waved in the wind.

Children and Telmarines and ahead of us, spreading flower petals in our path, Caspian and I rode in the front on our horses, Aslan in between us.

I wore a new dress, much more becoming than any of the dresses I used to wear. This one was fit for a Queen.

Caspian wore a matching royal tunic and he looked like a real King

So in short,  we both looked a little less like runaway orphans that had previously been sentenced to death by our uncle

Both of us wore crowns on our heads and proudly smiled as we made our way towards the castle.

Mine felt slightly heavy on my head but I felt like a real queen.
