I woke up at 8AM, realising I wasn't in my room in New York. So it wasn't a dream.
I put on my clothes and went downstairs. I passed the corridor and heard snoring from the room of Nero.
I took cereal from the kitchen cupboard and installed myself outside on the terrace. It was a little cold and the grass was still wet from the morning dew. The view was amazing. I could see the mountains in the distance.
I heard the door open, "Oh you're already awake?" Ojee asked.
"Yeah, I'm an early bird. Did I wake you up?" I questioned.
"No no you didn't. I'm nervous so I can't sleep." He took a seat next to me."Are you stressed out because of the match tomorrow?"
"Yeah... It's my first Overwatch League game ever." he trembled.
"Don't worry about it. You'll do just fine." I tried to reassure him.
"I hope so." Ojee said and we both stared at the mountains."You should ask Gator or Hawk to take you to the mountains. It's a must have seen."
"Oh, that's a good idea. I love hiking!" I cheered, "I'll ask them later, if I know who Gator is."
"Just look for the tall guy who always wears a hat. And he has a mustache." Ojee laughed.
"That sounds scary." I joked."What sounds scary?" I turned around and there he was, the tall guy with the hat and mustache.
"Nothing nothing!" I gulped and Ojee bursted out laughing.
Gator raised an eyebrow, "You must be Lily the new ICT-er. I'm Gator."
"Nice to meet you." I was confused, "How do you know my name?" I wondered.
"Hawk texted me about you.""He did what?" I was surprised, "What did he text about me?"
Gator laughed "Only that we had to make you feel at home. And that you're hella annoying.""What! He said that?" I bursted out.
"I'm just joking. He thinks you're nice." Gator walked past me and whispered something in Ojee's ear. They laughed."Hey what's that? Am I not allowed to know something?" I asked them.
"It's better if you don't know." Ojee winked, "Also, didn't you have to ask Gator something very important?" he changed the subject."Yes I do!" I looked at Gator, "Ojee said that I needed to ask you and Hawk if you wanted to take me up to the mountains."
Gator pondered. "Sure, if Hawk wants then we'll take you."
"Great! I'll ask him later!."The facility slowly came back to life. Nero had woken up and sat next to me.
"How are you doing? Did you sleep well? Are you ready for your first day?" he poked in my arm.
I nodded, "I'm actually very hyped for today. Finally meeting the others today.""Oh yeah. Well I think you'll like Kai a lot. He's really nice." Nero said "And he's also a good player, but not better than me." he laughed.
Time flew by as I was setting up my PC in my room. Nero had given me a keyboard and a mouse.
"Sadly you won't have a PC in the gaming room. But you can always use mine if you want." Nero said while taking me to the gaming room where the training was about to start. We entered the room and saw that we were the last ones. We took a seat at the big table where everyone already sat.
Hawk sat in front of me, with next to him two others I didn't recognize. One had short black hair and blue/grey eyes. He was wearing a red flannel. The other one had long brown hair.
Hawk saw me and waved. I waved back to him.A man walked into the room and stopped at the end of the table.
