Stargazing ✰

Chapter 4

I woke up, not lying in the grass, but in my bed. How did I get here?  The last thing I remembered was that I was stargazing after the party.

I took my phone from my desk and turned it on. It was already 2PM. Did I sleep this long?

As soon as I got out of my bed I realised I was still in my clothes from last night; my bikini and Hawk his hoodie.

I changed clothes but kept on the hoodie.

I went downstairs and found Nero, Venom and Hawk in the gaming room.

"There she is, finally awake." Nero said when I plopped into the beanbags. "You must have had a rough night." he joked.

I yawned, "I fell asleep in the grass." 

"Noway." Nero laughed, "There's no way you did that, I thought I had sleeping problems."

"It's true." Hawk said. He had taken off his headphones to join the conversation, "I'm the one who brought her to bed."

"It was you?" I asked and I felt my face get red. I was embarrassed. 

"It was me yes. But only thanks to Venom who woke me up at 5AM to get you to bed."

"I'm so sorry... I'm sorry for the trouble I've brought." I apologized with my face still red.

"It's okay, you're not bringing any trouble at all." Hawk asured me. 

"Next time earlier to bed." Venom added.

"I will." I promised him.

I left the room to let the boys continue to play their games. The room was rather quiet. It wasn't like the day before. I remembered all the staff running around to prepare the match.
Kai and the others must've stayed at their houses today, so it was very quiet.

I found Ojee in the living room.

"Hey there sleepyhead." he greeted me as I entered the room.

"Goodmor- uhm midday?"

Ojee chuckled, "You're clearly not awake yet."

I nodded. It was true, I felt like i was in a dream.

"So..." Ojee started, "Have you found a date to go to the mountains yet?"

"The mountains?" I questioned.

"Yeah, with Garor and Hawk."

"Oh shoot, I forgot to ask Hawk about it." 

"Then what are you waiting for? Go ask him."

"But he's gam-." as soon as  said that, he went into the room and I went quiet.

He looked at me questioningly, "Why are you suddenly quiet?"

I tried finding some words but ended up saying nothing at all.

"Lily, you're making me do all the work for you." Ojee shook his head, "She wants to ask you something." 

I felt my face get red again, "I- I wanted to ask you if you wanted to take me to the mountains here close by with Gator." I threw out in one breath.

"Oh." Hawk nodded, "It's about that. Gator already asked me yesterday and we planned on going after the NYXL match if that's okay for you?" Hawk asked me with a big smile on his face.

"Yeah, yes, ofcourse." I stumbled on my words, "It's not like I have anything else to do."

"Okay, I'll let Gator know." he said and took his phone.

"Thank you." I whispered to Ojee.

"No problem." he whispered back with a big grin on his face and he gave me a highfive.

The rest of the day passed by rather quickly. I had dinner with Nero and Venom, and later on I decided to play a few support games on my new PC that Nero had set up for me. i hadn't done my placements yet, so I did them and ended up in grandmasters.

Later that night I went back outside to my stargazing spot where I fell asleep last night. But this time it was already taken. 

"There you are." Hawk said, "Would you like to join me?" he offered.

I blushed, "Yes, I'd love to." I took place next to him.

"I see you're still wearing the hoodie." Hawk smiled.

"Yeah... I love it."

"I'm glad you do. It looks good on you." 

"Thanks."

We stayed in the dark till it was 2 AM and as we were to go to bed, the starts started falling.

"Look!" Hawk pointed at the falling star. It fell over quickly, but I had seen it right on time.

"Fast, do a wish." Hawk said.

I didn't know what to wish for, but as soon as I looked at Hawk, I knew what to wish. 

"What did you wish?" he asked me.

"I can't tell or else it won't come true." I smiled.

"That's true." Hawk stood up, he held his hand out to me, "C'mon, lets go to bed. I'm not leaving you here ever again."

I grabbed his hand and he pulled me up.

"I'm not tired yet." I yawned.

"You do look tired to me." Hawk said.

We went upstairs and we stopped at Hawk his room door.

"Goodnight." he said and wrapped his arms around me. It was a long, warm hug and then he pulled away.

"Goodnight..." I brought out, and he went in his room.

I went to mine and plopped on the bed. That hug... I thought. I wish he hadn't let me go.
