"Goodmorning everyone. Before we start, I'd like to introduce the new ICT-er." he pointed at me, "This is Lily, please be nice to her." he looked at the guy with black hair.
"I'm Brad, the headcoach." he continued, "So tomorrow we'll play the first match of the season against the Florida Mayhem. As far as I know, we'll be able to win this without any problems. If we focus on SirMajed and Anamo it should be fine.
After he had talked about the other team, everyone went to their PC's and started practicing some plays.
I sat on the beanbag watching them play.
The raining went on for a few hours and I almost fell asleep.
Hawk plopped down on the beanbag next to me, "Do you play Overwatch?" he asked.
"Me? Oh yes I do, I play support." I answered.
"What's your SR?"
"It's somewhere between 3500 and 4000 in Masters." I explained, but I wasn't 100% sure.
"Oh then we could play together" Hawk smirked.
"Sure, I'd love to carry you." I laughed.
"Haha very funny. Do you want to play now?" he wondered.
I basically had nothing else to do, "Okay," I insisted, "But it has been a while since I've played."
We played a few games till it got late. As we were about to stop, someone entered the room.
"Oh hey there. Are you two playing together?" the boy with black hair asked. His hair has become fluffy.
"Yeah we are, but we were about to stop actually. Do you want to play one last game with us?" Hawk asked him.
"No, it's okay. I'll play with you two next time." the boy turned to me and he extended his arm to me, "I'm Kai by the way. Nice to meet you."
I shaked his hand, "Nice to meet you too." I said.
Later on I had dinner with Ojee and Hawk outside. We tried to assure Ojee that he shouldn't be nervous and that he will play fine.
I went to my stargazing spot on the grass. There were many more clouds than the night before, but I didn't mind.
"You're here again." I heard Hawk's voice behind me.
"Like I told you yesterday, you'll always find me here at night."
He lay beside me, "I hope today was okay for you and that everyone was nice to you." he said as he looked at me. His hair was all messy and I could see the tiredness on his face.
"Yeah it was okay! Everyone is so nice, plus I had fun playing with you today." I smiled.
I turned my eyes back to the sky, which was slowly getting darker.
"Are you ready for tomorrow?" I asked to break the silence.
"I am." Hawk laughed, "It's not like Mayhem is a good team. I'm sure we will win."
"Yeah lets hope so."
We talked a bit till it was past midnight.
Hawk stood up, "I'm going to bed now. It was nice talking to you." he yawned.
"Goodnight." I said and he went inside.
I wasn't tired at all, my brain was still fully awake. I couldn't stop thinking about my dad. I knew he had left me and my mom to work in Atlanta. I didn't want to see him at all, but what if I did. I was still so mad at him for leaving us and taking my brother with him.
Stay away from him. Do not give him the satisfaction of seeing you. My mother's words echoed in my head.
I had promised her to never find him. But what if he finds me?
No. I shook my head at the thought and shivered. It had turned cold quickly, so I decided to head back inside.
I realized it was already past 2AM when I layed down in my bed.
Writer's note:
