Writer's note:
I'm so sorry I wasn't able to write :( I did pass all my exams!
I also spent two weeks in Norway so I wasn't able to write there either, and
soon I'll be in France so that I won't upload there either.
But here's chapter 8.2 (finally)! Please I don't know if this is good, and since it's also my first story, I'd like to have some feedback :sob: or some advice, ideas you know.
And please don't forget to vote after reading it! It helps me out :)
Ty, all to those who read this!

From above, Dallas seemed small, but the lights made it the most beautiful city I had seen. I had never been to Texas before, but I already liked it.

We rushed through the gates, got our luggage - which took way too long - and took place on the bus. I picked a spot first, watching everyone who went past me. Most of us wanted to sit alone, to sleep, so I didn't expect someone to take the seat next to me. I was also tired, but I didn't know if it was a good idea to sleep.

Suddenly someone stopped, "Can I?" he pointed with his eyes to the seat next to me. Kai's fluffy black hair sat in front of his gray eyes, it was obvious that he was also tired.

"Go ahead."

He took the seat and placed his bag under it. He waited till everyone had passed by, "Thanks, I didn't want to sit next to any of these dumbasses."

"It's okay." I chuckled, some of the 'dumbasses' were arguing about where to sit once again.

The bus took off to the hotel. Gator had told us it was only an hour and a half away. I was pretty sure I was going to have a room of my own, because Frana had a room with Gator, and I didn't want to share one with one of the boys, that'd be weird.

Kai and I didn't talk much until we got into traffic.

"Traffic at this hour? It's goddamn night! How's this possible?" Kai complained to no one and everyone.

"How are we supposed to know?" Gator shrugged, "Just get some sleep and we'll be through it."

Kai ignored it and took a deep breath in and out, "Soo... Is there anything you're looking forward to?" he asked me to hide his frustration.

"I don't know. I've never been to a tournament." I had no idea what was about to happen, I was clueless, "What about you?" I asked him to keep the conversation going.

"I want to see my friends from other teams," he answered.

"Lots of friends?"

"Quiet a lot." he started counting on his fingers, "Danteh and Pelican from Houston, Samm from Shock, Hydron." he stopped at 4, "And some others of course. I'll let you meet them if you want."

"Yes, I'd like that." I nodded.

"As long as you don't decide to go to another team." Kai looked dead serious at me.

"I won't- don't worry. Well, I'm looking forward to that then." I smiled and yawned.

"You look tired." he stated.

"Yeah, I'd like to sleep a bit." I confessed.

He thought for a second, and then blushed a little, "If you want you can sleep on my shoulder." he suggested.
