Stargazing ✰

Chapter 5

Today was match day. I woke up early again to help the staff set up everything.

I went downstairs, ate breakfast and then went to the game room where everyone was.

They were all playing Overwatch to warm up.

"Goodmorning Lily." Kai said when he noticed me. He stood up and gave me a short hug.

"Goodmorning to you too." I smiled.

I went to check Nero and apparently he had slept all night, but his eyelids were heavy and he couldn't stop yawning.

I bumped into Gator and he informed that he planned on leaving at 6PM, because apparently it was a 3 hours walk.  Fortunately there was someone to pick us up at the end to bring us back.

Before the match started I had a little talk with UV (Ultraviolet) and Venom. They told me they were a 100% sure they would win 3-0.

"I'm not sure of that." I doubted jokingly, "Maybe 3-1?"

"3-1? Noway, New York isn't even a good team." Ultraviolet scolded me.

"We make a deal." Venom said, "We win 3-0, Lily pays food for us. We win 3-1, we tale Lily out for noodles in Korean restaurant."

I laughed, "That's a deal."

"Yes deal." UV said.

The match started soon after.

I sat in the staff room watching the game with Danny, Brad, Kai and Gator.

"So... Are you doubting us again?" he asked and winked.

I played with him, "Maybe, who knows. But I've heard that that NYXL aren't even a good team. So they'll probably play so badly, that we'll win easily." I joked but Kai didn't seem to get the joke.

"You little bi-" Kai received a kick from Gator. He looked mad at his friend and apologized to me.

"It's okay, I was only joking. I shoudn't have said that anyways."

Match 1 and 2 were won and they had a short break.

Hawk stood next to me while Brad explained his tactic for the next map.

"Your Doomfist is so good." I whispered to him. 

"Thank you." he whispered back and then listened to Brad again.

"Could you learn me how to play him?"

"Sure, but it takes a lot of pract-" 

Brad interupted him, "Okay, you two are cute together, but are you done now? It's important." 

"I'm sorry." We both said.

After the match we all went to the gaming room.

"Haha! 3-0! Told you so!" UV laughed at  me.

"You pay food for us." Venom smirked.

"Yes, I'll pay it soon okay. But I really wanted to try the Korean noodles." I pouted.

"Maybe we'll go there if you win the bet next time." UV giggled.

"Or I'll just take you there." Kai offered.

"No Kai! No fun in that." Venom shouted.

Kai shrugged, "Why not? I'll take her if she really wants to go there."

"Aww thank you Kai, but I'll just take the bet next time." I didn't want to ruin the fun for the two players, I loved seeing them so cheerfull and happy.

"As you wish princess." and he left the room.

UV frowned, "Did he really just call you princess?"

"He did." Venom mumbled.

"W-what? It's just a nickname, nothing weird." I blurted out.

"Yeah sure." 

At 5PM, Hawk Gator and I prepared for the hike in the mountains. I was very excited cause it had been a while since I'd gone out to walk in the nature.

"I know it was a busy day, but why are we going so late?" I asked while putting my walking shoes on. 

"It's because we're going to take you somewhere very special which is better to see at night." Hawk grinned at Gator.

"Aren't you going to tell me what?" I aksed in curiousity. 

"Mmhhmm, nope."

"Oh come on! I don't like surprises." I complained.

"I know." Hawk teased.

"Pleeeaaseeee?" I asked Gator, but he shook his head.

Before we left I went to question Ojee.

"You're gonna love it." he said.

"But I want to know what it is." I wailed.

"I'm not going to tell you." he laughed in my face, "But I can tell you that it's something very special to Hawk."

"But-"

We heard Gator shout across the room, "Lily? We're leaving!"

"Have fun and don't fall of a cliff." Ojee joked. 

"Thank you Ojee, and I won't." I rolled my eyes and ran to Gator.

Writer's note: as some of you might know, Venom is Korean. Last year I've heard somewhere (idk where anymore) that he was very good in speaking English, so I tried to form his sentences like I think he'd speak.
