The boys had been everywhere in Derry trying to find certain items for this idea of Richie's. He was determined to get his spot back one way or another, and he knew that just because he had Eddie on his side didn't exactly make him look intimidating. He could've pulled that off on his own.

So, what did Richie need Eddie for exactly? Why bring him along if he wouldn't be of much use to him? Well, he had a plan. A plan that required two people.

The next thing Eddie knew, he was following Richie into the woods and down a pathway farther and farther away from town. He had never been this far into the woods before. So, naturally, he was "slightly" panicking inside. But, he couldn't let Richie know that he was nervous. He didn't want him to know that he was regretting his decision and barely trusted him; that would make Eddie feel bad.

"So, uhm...what're we doing exactly with a bunch of matches and fireworks?" Eddie asked.

Richie turned to him and chuckled, "Oh, c'mon, Eds. Now, I know you're not this dense."

Eddie thought for a moment and when it really sank in, he let out a gasp before smacking Richie in the back of his head. Richie knew he was in for it now.

"Richie! What the fuck? We-You're seriously not considering literally blowing them out of your hideout, are you?"

"Pfft. No." Richie answered, relaxing Eddie a bit. And then he opened his mouth again and ruined it.

"I'm not considering it anymore...because I've already come to a decision; I'm fucking blowing them up."

Eddie groans, dropping the box of fireworks and glaring up at the boy. "You are insane—what...what if we...what if we kill them?" Eddie whispered this as if there were people around to actually hear him. He covered his mouth in agony, just the thought of him killing someone pierced his heart in the most hurtful and brutal way.

Richie sighed, annoyed by Eddie's good nature. "Relax, dude. I'm only lighting one if they're not in there. So don't you worry you're pretty little head." He patted him on top of his head and lifted up the box that Eddie had dropped and began carrying it for him.

"Hey! B-But that could cause a forest fire, Richie. Do you know how many wild fires are caused by fireworks and gender-reveal parties? A lot. I-I mean, we could get into a bunch of trouble for something like this, y'know? A-And I thought you wanted to get your clubhouse back, not blow it up. Wouldn't blowing it up just completely defeat the purpo-" Richie placed his hand over Eddie's mouth and proceeded to shush him.

"We're here."

Eddie's spine tingled as he and Richie made their way over to a little entrance door in the ground. It's a clubhouse, Eddie thought, tiptoeing with Richie. They stopped in front of the door, but not directly in front of it, but just enough. Richie handed Eddie the box and placed his finger on his lips.
