The only thing Eddie had on his mind today was passing his Algebra exam. He's not an idiot, but math just wasn't something he could do off of the top of his head. Math is definitely not Eddie's strong suit.

At one point during the test, he got distracted and started thinking about his boyfriend. Which was inevitable considering Richie has been on his mind since Saturday.

Good thing he managed to find himself distracted on the last few questions or he would've been screwed.

Eddie managed to turn in his test at the last minute, just before the bell rang.

As he began to gather his things, he felt a pair of eyes on him. He smiled to himself, as he hoped it was a certain someone that had managed to find his way to his classroom.

He quickly picked up his bag and spun around.

He froze.

Eddie could've sworn he felt his heart sink straight to his stomach. He swallowed his pride as he may direct eye contact with Brady Smith.

Brady waved and looked around, before stepping into the classroom. Eddie didn't know what to do, he just didn't want to be alone with this guy. He wanted to cry, actually.

The teacher had left the class along with the other kids, so he wouldn't have been much help. Unless he was just using the bathroom, and would be back in just a few. But, what if he wasn't just using the bathroom.

Eddie knew he had to think fast. Faster than fast.

"Hey, can we talk?" His voice caused Eddie to jump a little.

Brady frowned. "Sorry, is now a bad time?"

Brady made his way around the desks towards Eddie, but the ladder had started to back up a little.

He knew he had to say something to Brady, he couldn't just back up like an idiot.

Eddie tried to do the math in his head, on how he would escape this one without looking like, well an idiot.

He just couldn't think right now. The only thing on his mind being Brady and what he wanted with Eddie. They haven't spoken since last year's incident and he'd prefer not to speak with the guy ever again.

"I—I really need to...to...get to-" Eddie stammered, not knowing exactly what to say.

I need to get to my locker.

I need to get to class.

I need to go home.

Eddie had backed up as far as he could go at this point, backing right into another desk.

"Dude, what's your problem?" Brady asked.

You.

Just leave me alone.
