~Chapter 19~

Getting to the point of the walk where you have to go through the park to get to the forest trail, bakugo stops to question you.

"Oi, I thought we were going to your house, why the hell are we at the park"

Not even looking back you keep walking forward into the park "Just trust me on this, you'll see"

He grumbles under his breath and walks faster to catch up with you.

Getting to the trail and after walking a little while, you start to look around to see where the entrance to your little forest clearing is.

"Ah here it is" you turn right into the trees, bakugo still following in tow but now even more confused. You were supposed to take groceries home, so why the hell were you both in the middle of the damn forest?!

After walking some ways, his questions are answered, only for more to pop up.

For starters why the hell did you live in the middle of the forest? And how the hell did this house even get here?

Walking up to the door and unlocking it, you look back over your shoulder at him "I'll only be a minute but do you wanna come in?"

He walks in without saying anything and looks around "this is a weird ass house"

"Well I'm sorry but it's portable so excuse me that it's not to your liking your majesty" putting the food on the counter in your kitchen, you fold your arms sassing him

"Tch. What the hell do you mean it's portable? It's a god damn house"

You sigh and roll your eyes, going to put the food away after a minute you grab your purse again and walk back over to the door to leave. He follows behind you as you both head outside.

You pull out your box of capsules and pick out the car

"The hell are you doing dumbass"

Ignoring him, you push the button and throw it on the ground and put pops a bubbly yellow car with a small capsule Corp logo on the bottom right of the back window.

At the sudden appearance of a manically appearing car, bakugo is shocked and is now looking between you and the car frantically

"Oh relax, my mom makes these. They're called capsules my house does the same thing, that's what I meant by portable. I just used this as an example." Opening the car door and pushing one of the small buttons on the dash board, the car poofs back into a small capsule laying on the ground.

"Come on that's not all I wanted to show you." Picking up the capsule you start heading towards the trail and Bakugo follows next to you. Usually he would be complaining about not being in the front, but since he doesn't know where he's going, he can't really complain.

At this point he has no idea what he's getting himself into, at first he was just gonna walk you home and now your taking him into the middle of the woods to do God knows what. Not to mention you won't tell him anything.

You stop in your tracks, bakugo also stops to look at you "we're here" you nod your head forward drawing bakugo's attention to what you were looking at. Through the trees he spots what seems to be a structure.

You let him take the lead as he walks forward through the trees. His eyes widen as they spot the portal, the large circular arch atop of a large platform. The middle is currently empty as you have yet to ask your mother to activate it.

Pulling out a small circular device, you press the button on the top to call your mother.

"Hey mom can you open the portal, I want to visit for the weekend"

"Of course! Just give me one sec and I'll open it up for you right now"

You hang up and shortly after you see the portal come to life, the center now being filled with the familiar swirling blue.

"Are you gonna tell me what the hell is going on!?" Bakugo now totally at a loss now storms over to you.

You sigh "it's easier to just show you, that's why I brought you out here. I'll explain once we go through and I'll answer all of your questions. But for now just trust me on this" you give him a small smile

He's still very confused, but he just clicks his tongue and mutters a small fine.

You both walk up to the portal entrance, you look over at him and see the nervousness on his face.

You grab his hand, his head snapping to look down at your conjoined hands and then up to your face. The surprise he had was just so adorable you couldn't help but giggle and blush a little.

He also blushes and looks away with a scowl, but doesn't make any attempt to pull away.

"It'll be alright I've done this plenty of times before. Trust me you'll think it's awesome."

You pull the both of you through the portal, a bright light takes over your vision for a second before it settles to a comfortable level. You feel bakugo's hand tighten around yours before it loosens itself as you both start walking

He looks around in awe following behind you, the normal crease in his brow is nowhere to be seen with his mouth open in surprise, a small smile playing at his lips.

You giggle a little bit causing his normal scowl to return as he makes a "tch" noise and turns his head to the side blushing a little.

You simply squeeze his hand a little and face forward. Although you can't see it, he looks at you and his small smile returns.
