A time for love? (Cinderace x Lucario)

Meeting

Lucario POV

I limp over to a tree to rest. I was just in a fight with a pack of wild Pokémon, I was able to fight but I got beat up for most of the fight. Mainly because it was a 8 vs. 1. I need rest, I sit down and lean on the tree and close my eyes. drifting off to sleep.

I'm asleep. Peaceful, Nice escape from a sad reality. I don't really mind it though. I need all the peace I can get. I wake up from my nap to the sounds of screams. "What the-" I stand up and look around "Where did that come from? I start to run in the direction that the screams came from. I turn the corner and see a Gengar holding down another Pokémon.

I can't fight, I should just walk away. What does it matter anyway? Who cares? "Help!!" The Pokémon yells out. jeez... I really don't want to deal with this. Fine I guess I'll do something. I start to punch the ground, this creates a dust screen. Somehow I find my way through the dust screen and grab the Pokémon and make a run for it. " Hey! Whats going on !? Let me go!" I continue to run until it's safe. I look around to see if anyone is there. I put down the Pokemon and I'm able to get a good look at it. It's a Cinderace. Whats a Cinderace doing all the way out here? In a forest literally in the middle of nowhere. The Pokemon rubs its eyes. "Can't see! My eyes burn!" Cinderace yells "Sorry about that" i apologize

Cinderace opens her eyes and sees the Lucario "Uhm... Thanks for saving me i guess" Cinderace says still rubbing her eyes a little bit. "Yeah No problem." Lucario says turning to walk away "Try not to get into anymore trouble. I won't be there to help you." Lucario tries to walk away but a sharp pain in his leg makes him fall on the ground. "AUGH!" He yelps. Cinderace runs over to him "Hey are you okay? Your leg looks pretty bad." She leans down and looks at Lucario's leg

"I hurt it in a fight earlier and running didn't really help" Lucario explained "Do you need help? I have some bandages and potions at my place!" Cinderace smiles "You have a house all the way out here?" Lucario asked "Yeah of course!" Cinderace says "I think I'll be fine, I just need to rest a bit and eat some berries." Lucario attempts to get up but falls back on the ground in pain "AUGH!!" he yelped "I owe you for saving me. Please let me help you!" Cinderace pleaded. "Fine." Lucario said, giving in. Cinderace helped Lucario up and they started walking. "I don't live far! you'll be better in no time."

They started walking to her house.
