SMALL DICK BEHAVIOR

*

Alexis might be cheering the guys on beside the field again like every other day they have a game. This is the last match of the season, but whether they win or lose, they'll play in another league anyways. They've started celebrating their previous game, which was official, but that doesn't mean you've got to lose now.

In fact, it'll make them feel like losers. They need this win for an extra serotonin boost.

"Hey, Alex." She looks beside her and looks right into the sweet eyes of the raven-haired guy. "I haven't seen you since the last game. How have you been?" She forces a smile through her lips and looks at the game to get a distraction for a mere second.

She can't cry now, nor while wanting to cheer her best friend on.

"I've been doing fine; how have you been? Where's Scarlett?" The well-known sparkle lights back up in his eyes, and he bites his lip.

"She's back home, studying for a big test." He answers. "I've been doing fine as well. Med school is a bit hectic, but there's nothing I can't handle. If I pass all of these exams, I can fully work in a hospital, so that's great." A smile grows on Alex's lips, genuine this time. She knows he's been wanting this for ages.

"That's great, Cal." She smiles at him. He wraps his arm around her shoulder and holds her closer to his body. A soft kiss is placed on her hair, and she looks up for a split second, but Calum looks back at the game. A deep sigh falls from her lips, but it's covered by the wind slowly brushing through her hair.

Her green eyes try trying to focus on the game, but somehow they drift off to a well-known blonde guy. His cheeks have turned red from the warmth of his body and the cold of the wind. He's standing still for a second, sucking on his bottom lip while looking at all the other players. A dimple appears on his cheek.

In all honestly, Alexis always had a weakness for guys that passionately play sports.

But Luke always had a weakness for the nerdy type of girl. The girl she appears to be.

They all leave the field once the forty-five minutes have hit the clock. Michael runs up to his best friend and wraps his arms around the brunette. A toothy smile appears on his face, and Alexis flashes one back. As much as she wants to be happy, she simply can't. There's some discomfort that comes along with it.

And Michael sees right through her.

"I've gotta go since coach wants to talk to us, but we'll talk after the game, okay?" Alex nods, and Michael rushes towards the dressing room. Calum glances at the girl, trying to figure out what Michael saw that he didn't. Not that he will ask her, though. If she wanted to start about it, she would have.

Once the team walks back onto the field, her eyes find the figure of Luke again. He definitely is some good eye candy, and she sure as hell isn't the only one who thinks that way. He definitely is an asshole, but it's cruel how he is so handsome.

"Since when are you checking him out?" Calum asks her, taking her out of the most intimidating stare she's ever had. "Oh my god, you fancy him."

"No, I do not," Alex laughs, pushing the guy off of her. They both chuckle after the exchange. "But he is kinda good-looking," Alex admits softly. Calum looks at her, not just his head. His body has turned to her as well. His jaw falls wide open, but it turns into a smirk immediately. "Oh, don't do me like that. It's not like I'm going to marry the guy."

"I didn't say anything," he says defensively. "Since when are you checking him out, though?"

"Michael and I made a drunk bet or something that I need to make him fall in love with me so that I can break his heart. He's hurt us in the past and deserves to feel some pain." Alexis tries to explain, suddenly very self-aware of what she doesn't want to do. She loves Michael, and she definitely dislikes Luke. Now she can tolerate him, but once he opens his mouth? Ain't no way.
