SOCCER SCOUTS

And so she did. She fell asleep in his arms. It is just a funny little thing how a person can make you feel so warm inside. It's almost magical. But we all know in a realistic world that magic doesn't exist. They will find that out soon enough, but only when they're ready to admit what they've done.
But for now? They're content with the one big secret they're both keeping. In fact, everything seems to be going great between them, so why make such a mess?
Alexis has never woken up so well-rested. She must admit that Luke is a better mattress than the mattress itself. Of course, not as soft, but... Nevermind. To be utterly fair, I don't even know how she got on top of him. Luke rarely rolls in his sleep, but Alexis is making a new invention of a rollercoaster.
Luke loves her this close. He will probably never admit it, but everyone can tell. He doesn't need many words to describe something he loves. He flutters his eyes, and a ray of sunshine shines through the curtains. He looks at the girl on top of him, and a little smile appears on his face. Luke wraps his arms around the girl and brings his hands to her back. He traces his fingertips over the skin and notices goosebumps on her arms.
His lips curl up as a soft, content hum leaves her lips. She is so adorable when she's like this. Just a careless morning with her.
The woman he's crazy about, whipped for, and who makes his heart burst. The woman he absolutely adores, who keeps him on his toes, who will be there at all times. The woman who would take the fall for him, always knows what to say, and the woman he loves so much it hurts.
He wants to say it, but it's so soon. He isn't even sure whether he's ready to say it to her. He wants to, but he's scared to love. Most of all, he's scared he'll lose her.
"No, keep going," she whines, her eyes closed still. He notices his tickles have stopped, and she's whining about that. Sometimes she's needy like that, but he would be lying if he said he hated it. "Lu," she whines. He feels the butterflies in his stomach flutter at the simple nickname. She looks up to meet his bright blue eyes.
"Good morning to you too," he says, tugging a piece of hair behind her ear. A smile creeps up her lips. "You know, there's a bit of drool." She immediately rolls off of him and wipes her hand over her mouth several times. A chuckle leaves his lip. There was no drool, but to see her doing that is just too funny.
"Fuck you," she says.
"If you insist," he smirks at her, placing his hands behind his head.
"Are you nervous about today's game?" She asks him. Luke shakes his head and sighs deeply. He doesn't look forward to it but knows it's an important game. Maybe he feels a little nervous; he doesn't want to fuck up. "You so are!" She says.
"You know what helps with nerves?" He asks. She nods happily and steps out of the bed. "I meant sex, Finley," he sighs.
"You said you weren't nervous," she shrugs. Alexis walks out of the room and towards the living room to walk out of the big windows showing the city. It looks beautiful, and the sight never gets boring. She feels his arms around her cold body and smiles as she leans back.
"You're so pretty," he whispers in her ear. Goosebumps appear once again. Luke can only smirk as he realizes his effect on the girl. He places kisses on her neck, and little pants escape her lips. "Those other hickeys aren't even gone yet," he chuckles. "And you seem really desperate for new ones." His hands trail down under the oversized shirt.
"You shouldn't be making more," she says, her eyes closed. "You're not fucking Edward," he frowns until he realizes the Twilight reference. She turns around and looks at him. That happens until the sound of her empty stomach rumbles through the entire living room.
