Deep inside the darkest parts of the castle, Lord Marcy has locked up several captives in the prison in the basement.

The prisoners are some of Sasha's comrades from her previous life: Anne, the peasant girl from the woods or the prophecy, King Grime or her father that lied to her for years, and Sprig or the frog kid running with Anne.

Marcy's POV

"Check it out, my loyal apprentice!" Maddie and I peered out as far as we could see on one of the castle balconies. "We are now the rightful rulers of the land of Amphibiland!"

Maddie hopped on the wrap around fence. "It is glorious, my lord."

Maddie turned towards me. "You have done well, young one. I think you are ready." A light smirk forming on my face.

Maddie's face went blank, "You don't mean!" She began stomping in excitement.

"Yes, you know exactly what I mean!" I presented her a little box with loads of magical items. "You are proven that you are worthy of the title, Master."

"This is a great honor, Grand Master Marcy." She took the box, bowing and promising, "I will not let you down."

"Good, goooood." I tapped my fingers together creepily. "Come now, we must check on the prisoners." I waved for her to follow.

We unlocked a door, leading to the basement. I lit a torch, holding it high as we stepped into the dark abyss.

"Let me out of here, you damn witches!" Grime yelled, demanding freedom against the cell bars.

"Silence, you greasy man!" I screamed back. I pulled a flaming knife from my cloak, threatening him by holding it to his face. "Otherwise, I will cut that other eye of yours out!"

He backed away to the farthest wall, watching me move along.

Maddie and I made our way through the countless number of prisoners.

"At last, we have made it!" We peered into the cell at the end of the hallway.

I clanked my staff against the bars, waiting to hear someone at least breath.

"Hello?" Maddie stuck her head in, paranoid.

I began frantically searching, "Where the hell are you, human?"

"I'm right here," a voice said, "where I've always been since I got here."

"Oh, I forgot you were chained up." I sighed with relief.

"Are you gonna tell me why I am chained up in the first place, or we gonna keep playing this game of not telling me?" Anne raised her brow, wanting answers. "And where's Sasha?!"

"Ah yes! The reason you are here in the first place." I sniggered, "Did you ever think that Sasha is the very reason you're here?"

"There is no way that's true!" She snapped, a blue glow coming over her.

She broke the chains like a god as her hair becomes a bright blue.

"No!" I muttered a spell under my breath, holding her off.

The power of the prophecy is stronger than I intended for someone unaware of their power.

"Ahhhhh," Anne choked out in pain and fell to the ground, tugging at the shock collar on her neck.

"Outstanding work, Maddie!" I sneered, clipping long claims with power dampening cuffs on Anne's wrists and ankles.

Anne wallowed on the ground as I gave her a powerful kick to the stomach. "Now, you gonna play nice? Or would you like Maddie to give you another shock?" I wickedly teased.

She squinted her eyes, shaking her head with disgust. "You are a monster!" She squalled out.

"Maddie! Another shock, but let's raise the voltage this time!" I commanded as Maddie punched the red button.

"AHHHHHHHH! GO FUCK YOURSELF!" She kept crying out as I requested for Maddie to keep raising the power.

Anne laid powerless barely breathing. "Let's try this again. You wanted to know why you're here. I want you to give up the power of the prophecy."

"I- I don't kn- know what yo- you're tal- talking about."

"Ughhhh, of course not! I don't understand why frog gave you the powers in the first place." I grunted, further explaining. "The calamity blue powers are passed down at random from generation to generation. It was said only the strongest of people are able to wield its power. I don't understand how some random peasant girl from the woods got them."

"That still does not tell me what happened to Sasha! She will get me out of here as soon as she realizes I'm gone!" This girl still had fight in her. Maybe she is tougher than I thought.

"Ha ha ha!" I could not hold back the cackle.

"Wha- what's so devilish funny?! Anne's anger tries to grow with each stutter, but she was in great agony.

I waved my hands, making my magic orb appear from thin air. I pulled up the footage of Sasha in the training yard. "She is way too busy with knight instruction. Plus, she wouldn't remember you if she saw you or the himbo down there!"

"I heard that!" Grime howled in the distance.

"Wh- ahh," Anne whimpered, aching all over, "what are you talking about?"

"You are full of questions, aren't you? Let's just say your friend made a deal with the devil. She wanted to be a knight and see her real parents, so I gave that to her for a price." A malicious grin smeared on my face. "I took the only people that ever cared about the princess and, of course, her memories. Can't have her breaking in to rescue you all."

Anne's eyes grew wide, turning into annoyance fast. She pulled and pulled, attempting to break the new chains. "Damn it!"

"Like the new chains? They're power dampening, do not even the calamity powers can bust through." I smarted off, feeling proud of myself and what I have done. "Now, if you will excuse me, I have a kingdom to rule with or without your help!"

"You won't get away with this, witches!" Anne called out, echoing down throughout the underground prison. "Never never never!"

Joke is on her because I already have. As long as Sasha doesn't realize this is some wacky illusion and Anne doesn't get free, I have this one in the bag.
