The Town Library

Saying that the kids were stuck at a dead end would be unserestimating the position they're in. All of them kept thinking and searching all week about what did that sentence mean but they couldn't figure out a single thing. They were only able to organize the timeline of the missing kids with the places and indeed it was a cycle when you exclude Ralph.

That means though that Ralph got too close, and that's why he disappeared. They know they're taking the same path as him but this time they're a group! Ralph went alone and Rapunzel almost had it alone, but together they actually might have a chance.

Together.... this word echoed in Jack's mind. The way Anne, Rapunzel's grandmother said it, it's like as if she's sure about it. It might be stupid but he has this suspicion that Anne knows something, maybe she's old and just scared but what if his senses are true? She has lived here in this town longer than anyone he'd known. Not a lot of elder people live here and that's because most of them had bad accidents.

Come to think of it, the kids realized that whenever someone tried to leave the town, a tragedy happens. Which explains Rapunzel's incident years ago.... however they never figured out why only her survived.

"There's still a lot of questions!" Merida groaned. The more they find something, the more questions keep popping up.

It was weekend and as usual they were at Jack's garage just doing their usual search.

"Which means we're getting closer" Hiccup said trying to be optimistic.

"Why are you always this...." Merida wrinkled her face "I don't know! You're always full of hope" Out of all boys, she never quiet understood Hiccup.

"Somebody has to" He replied and offered a smile. She blinked, shouldn't he fight with her? Argue? Anything! She brought her face closer to him and he almost blushed.

"You're odd" Merida pulled her face and looked away folding her arms.

"Well, odd things are usually special, like your hair" He smirked and she just glared at him.

"Are you making fun of my hair!" She accused "Only i make fun of my hair!"

"What no no!" He tried defending himself "I said it's special! I actually find it quiet beautiful" Botb him and Merida were shocked. What the hell did he just say?

What the hell? Merida was going to blush so ruffled her hair and looked away. Why is she blushing! Beautiful? Finds her hair beatiful? Screw boys! Since when can they make her blush!

"Guys" Kristoff called "Focus"

"I still don't get it, what does age have to do with the cycle" Flynn scoffed. It's super confusing.

"Well he indeed mentioned something about age when he told Rapunzel that weird phrase" Jack folded his arms narrowing his eyes at the board trying to find any new clue.

"I still don't understand it myself" Rapunzel sighed. She's also confused about what he said, this phrase.... she's sure it has a very important meaning behind it. And when he said he's waiting for her to be ready? Ready for what..

"We need to move back a little if we want to go ahead" Anna suggested and everyone furrowed their brows at her.

"I think she means we need to find out how this .... disappearing started" Kristoff rephrased and Anna nodded at him offering a smile which made him look away before he blushes.

"What don't we go to the Town Library?"  Flynn suggested "These cases were here before our parents even existed, the library are one of the first main buildings in town, maybe we'll find something" Flynn shrugged, just an idea he did not take it that serious.
