Chapter 23

The Sleepover

"Are you sure it's okay?..." Rapunzel asked Merida shyly. They were both standing in front of Merida's house now but Rapunzel was hesitant to go inside.

"Lass trust me" Merida smirked "I bring Anna all the time it's totally fine" She pouted as she dragged Rapunzel by her arm inside the house. Merida opened the door and they both walked inside.

It was a simple house actually, light colors, warm lights, some scottish decorations. It looked peaceful actually.

"Come here you three!"

Okay maybe it's not that peaceful.

"Give me the remote back!" A very tall no huge figure appeared in front of Rapunzel and Merida, he looked angry "Where did y-" The man blinked when he noticed the 2 girls.

"Hey Dad" Merida waved "This is my friend Rapunzel! We're having a sleepover today"

"Oh hello girls sure" Merida's dad smiled scratching his head then suddenly a pillow was thrown at his face "Hey! Come here!" Rapunzel blinked as he started running behind a small child that had similar hair to Merida's. Then suddenly a child poked at Rapunzel, she blinked and looked down to see the same child, wait.. wasn't he being chased by the father? She then saw another one on top of the chandelier that was in the middle of the living room.

How did he even get there!

"How many... are ... they...?" Rapunzel was super confused.

"They're my brothers, triplets. Don't mind them" Merida shrugged "Now come to my room" She dragged Rapunzel upstairs to her room and she closed the door behind them.

"I feel like i shouldn't be here...." Rapunzel hugged herself looking down, she has always felt like a burden to others.

"Lass!" Merida narrowed her eyes at her "Relaaaax, you saw my brothers for 20 seconds, compared to them my parents will see you as an angel" Merida assured.

"We need to tell my grandma though" Rapunzel sighed, what if her grandma freaked out? What if she got mad?

"Don't worry i'll make mum call her" Merida stated "But first you need to wash up and i'll find you something to wear" Merida walked to her closet. Rapunzel then started looking around, Merida's room looked nice and wild!

Red walls, a lot of posters hanged up, some weapons? She believes they're just decorations and of course a bow and a lot of arrows scattered everywhere. Her room was nothing compared to Rapunzel's purple room.

"Here!" Merida exclaimed snapping out Rapunzel from her thoughts. She was holding a pyjama "This is for you, i am a bit taller than you but other than that we'll be the same size"

"Thank you...." Rapunzel thanked her feeling a bit shy, no one was ever this nice to her.. She took the pyjama from her and Merida gave her this smile.

"You can use my bathroom, it's right there" Merida pointed at the door that was at the end of her room "And i'll tell mum to call your grandma, write down her number" Merida handed Rapunzel a paper and pen. Rapunzel wrote down the number and handed the paper to Merida.

Merida just nodded and ushered her to use the bathroom. Once Rapunzel went inside Merida just sighed... This girl must have been through a lot. Merida hates weak people but by weak she doesn't mean those are physically not strong. To her, Rapunzel is very strong for holding the weight of Pitch Black all by herself for year.

That monster traumatized her yet she's still standing on her legs, and for that Merida admires her. She went to the other bathroom in her house and started changing there. If her mother saw how dirty her clothes are she would ground her for  playing with that bow and arrow.
