Chapter 12

Not All Weak

After the encounter with the shadow, the kids felt drained and mentally unready for whatever coming among the road they're walking. Witnessing this with their eyes made all their doubts and fears real. Part of them regret to walk in this road in the first place. However, they don't regret this, they can't regret this. They have to find Emma and Hans, they have to bring them back and break this cycle before another kid gets involved no matter how scared they are, but some of them don't regret anything, like Jack.

He knew something was fucked up about this city, of course this is not what he had expected but that does not change his feelings. This is his sister he's talking about and his friend as well, there's no way he's going back, especially after finally convincing the freak to join him. Not turning away from this is the only way to have her standing with him. If it wasn't for all this she would have still been that mute weirdo he bullies whenever he wants.

But now she's here and she's actually talking and sharing her mind. Cancelling everything would mean she won't be here anymore and she'll be guarded and distant again. He finally made her make steps forward and there's no way he'll her go back to square one. He doesn't know why he wants that but screw it ! He wants what he wants and that's it.

"Where the hell is she?" Jack groaned. They've been waiting in front of the school gate for Rapunzel for like fifteen minutes now.

"Her class room is in the building at the end of the school grounds, i am sure she's on her way" Hiccup explained. It's true they agreed for Rapunzel to join them but he knows that neither Flynn or Jack accepted her....yet.

"It's true but she's taking too long" Anna stated.

"Maybe someone should go and check on her" Kristof suggested.

"Great ! Now we're baby sitting" Flynn scoffed.

"No one asked for your help here" Elsa rolled her eyes.

"Alright !" Merida snapped before there two clash together again "I'll go check on her" just as Merida was about to walk there Jack stopped her.

"Stop" Jack stated and Merida turned to look at him "I'll go"

"Excuse me?" Merida scoffed "I am not leaving you alone with her, you want her alone so you could take your anger on her huh? Well I am not allowing it !"

"I don't need your permission" Jack stated pressing his lips together "She's taking too long and we're on a hurry" Jack stared at her and started walking "and if I wanna bully her, i'll do it in front of everyone, i don't need schemes"

"You little-"

"Hey hey it's okay" Hiccup held Merida wrist and pulled her back as Jack walked inside the school "I know Jack, he won't do anything.....at least this time"

"You should stop being a softie" Merida rolled her eyes till it fell on his hand that was still holding her wrist she glared at Hiccup and raised her eyebrow, once Hiccup realized he's still holding her, he pulled his arm back right away blushing like crazy.

"I...I am not a softie" Hiccup defended trying hard to hide that he's nervous "Is it a bad thing to be nice?"

"God ! You're unbelievable" Merida groaned. She's trying so hard to provoke him to make him go nuts on her or something but he's being a total teddy bear !!
