Chapter 4

The Truth Seeker

"What ?" Jack's eyes widened. His mind refuses to take this.

"Mrs.Frost what are you saying ?" Hiccup's voice came almost as a whisper. Jack's mother sobbed not bearing to to tell her son this.

"Mum what do you mean missing !" Jack snapped "I was with her this morning ! I saw her in school, she was there !"

"Jack honey-"

"NO ! This isn't true, you're lying" Jack yelled harshly and ran fast upstairs.

"Jack !" His father called.

"Emma ! Emma where are you?" Jack opened her bedroom door and didn't find her there. He felt devastated....like his soul got sucked out of him "Emma..." He whispered falling on the floor.

"Jack" Hiccup called and touched his shoulder as he kneeled on the ground.

"She....she was here....I walked with her this morning.....Emma....she should be here.....I....she" Jack kept whispering lost in his thoughts. His sister isn't here....she's not home...she didn't come back home.

"Jack..." His mother called as she entered the room.

"She's not here.." Jack whispered tears filling his eyes "This morning I left with my sister...and now I came back without her.."

"Jack it's not your fault....I am sure Emma is fine...." Hiccup didn't know what to say, e just wanted to comfrot his friend.

"We're looking every where, honey we'll find her" His mother was in tears.

"NO !" Jack snapped "I am gonna find her !" Jack snapped once he turned and saw his parents, Hiccup and two officers standing "You won't search for her !" Jack yelled looking at the officers.

"Kid, we understand your grieve but we will do our bes-"

"LIAR ! Then you would have found Hans ! To you they're just some closed cases aren't they?" Jack shouted as he remembered Elsa's words.

They won't bother looking.

"Jack !" His father glared at him but Jack could care less.

"Non of you care ! I am the only who can truely find her and bring her home, You're all just LIARS" Jack ran out and heard his parents call his name but like hell he'll listen. He ran outside the house tears filling his eyes. Losing Emma is worst than anything. She is the only one who can make him be better, without her he'll just be lost.

He didn't know where he was heading, he just felt like running. He doesn't know when did he end up getting into the forest but he doesn't care. He stopped after a few minutes to take his breath.

He looked around and he was deep down in the forest. All alone with his pain, he looked at the sky and screamed from the top of his lungs getting out all the pain. He felt on his knees and looked at the grass.

"Why Emma..." He asked as tears dropped from his eyes. He was thinking why wasn't he the one that got missing and not her. Emma deserves better...so much better.

"Jack ! oh god there you are" Hiccup was breathing heavly from all the chasing after Jack. No wonder he always wins the races he's too fast "Hey man..." Hiccup called as he saw his friend laying hopelessly on the ground, he walked and put his hands on his shoulder "I am sure we'll find her"

"I'll find her Hiccup" Jack's voice was full of pain and harshness "Even if costs me my own life...I'll find her and when I know who took her" Jack stood on his feet "And when I know who is causing this.....I'll make him pay !"
