Chapter 3

A Closed Case

"Worst exam ever !" Flynn groaned as he got out of class.

"You sure you just didn't study? I found it easy" Hiccup shrugged casually.

"That's because you're a nerd !" Jack scoffed. He wasn't satisfied with his performance in that exam as well.

"At least it's finally over" Kristoff sighed "So you guys are still in, you know for our plan?" He asked and they all looked knowing exactly what he means.

"We're so in !" Jack stated seriously "Elsa must spell the beans for her own good or else"

"I don't know why would she be hiding anything" Hiccup reasoned hoping their friends will just drop the subject.

"Still, we have to be sure" Kristof argued. Elsa has always been this "Mum" towards Hans. She also never his friends saying they were a bad influence but thank god she didn't listen to him.

"Okay guys, Elsa must be at her locker right now, we'll follow her once she steps outside school and then corner her where no one can hear her" Jack explained the plan. Flynn smirked alongside Kristof while Hiccup just sighed.

"Let's do this" Flynn smirked as they all walked and watched her from behind. She was collecting her stuff at her locker. Once she was finished she walked outside with them following her behind. She kept looking around till her eyes spotted her sister sitting with Merida, approaching them they all walked together.

"Shit! Her sister and that red headed freak are with her" Jack scoffed.

"This is the one you fought with ?" Flynn asked referring to Merida.

"She's a maniac" Jack scoffed.

"Her name is Merida, Jack" Hiccup corrected. Jack got suspicious about how Hiccup keeps defending this girl but decided to drop this..for now.

"They're all headed to the forest" Kristof made a remark.

They all started following them behind or as Hiccup keeps saying Stalking . He didn't agree with his friends on this.... well, he never agreed about any of their friends techniques but he always goes along with them.

The boys kept following them inside the forest. Merida sensed something is wrong and the moment she looked behind they were hiding behind a tree. Merida narrowed her eyes and started walking behind. The boys gulped, they didn't wanna get caught.

"Meri come on" Anna yelled. Merida shrugged, it might have been a squirrel or something.

The boys sighed in relief once she walked away. This was close.

"That red head is not easy" Jack smirked.

"She almost caught us" Hiccup sighed. She was young but her senses were sharp.

"Let's proceed" Kristoff stated. They all noded and follwoed from a fine distance till they saw them settle in a spot.

"Where's Hans's bike?" Anna asked when she didn't find it in its spot. The boys stayed hidden behind the bushes and observing them closely.
