Y/N

The gentle late spring breeze washes over me like a cool splash of water. Nightfall provides some protection from the heat, but the humidity is thick and unforgiving. It's dusk, bright pinks and blues filling the sky as the last of the sun peeks over the horizon.

Leo goes over the plan one final time. It will require each of us to put in our full effort and heavily depend on each other for protection and support. We cannot fuck this up.

According to Krang communications, Ace and Looney are currently at a Krang base in Upstate New York. I'm not sure who they left in charge, but they certainly aren't as well versed in leading the Family as either Ace or Looney. Probably an uncle or cousin.

Donnie and I review the map I drew of the Family warehouse. The communications room is on the first floor, not exactly well hidden, but well guarded.

On Leo's command, we break into the warehouse by a window on the first floor. We take down a few guys on our way to the communications room, but don't set off any alarms or alert other people on watch.

At this time in the evening, the only people working are the guards. It's always pretty quiet here unless there's a shipment, guys are playing poker, or there's an event. Most of the gang don't actually work at the warehouse. Papa built several bases in Upstate New York, but I never visited those bases so I'm not sure what their use is. He rarely discussed business with me, instead leaning towards an emphasis on my education and pushing me to go to college to get as far away from crime as possible. Poor Papa, if only he could see my life all these years later. He would be livid.

Being as nosy as I am, I naturally know the passcodes to every room in the building. It's the same three passcodes, so if I don't know one, I can simply guess one of the three. When I told Donnie this, his eyes widened in shock. "Isn't that dangerous?" He asked. I shrugged, "Eh, that dingus Ace did it, what do you expect?"

The green light flashes and the door clicks, unlocking. A giant, black screen is displayed in the center of the room as well as a circular table with several small microphones at each chair and a few stray pens laying about. Several computers fill the room at its edges as well as about a dozen glossy black file cabinets filled to the brim with documents, but kept under lock and key.

I take the pin from my hair and immediately begin picking the lock while Donnie hacks one of the computers. The cabinet pops open, revealing a hundred manila folders, categorized by company and date.

Continuing to pop cabinets open, Raph, Mikey, and I sort through the folders in search of Krang files. Leo stands with Donnie at the computer. "I got something!" Mikey shouts, holding up a folder. He gestures for Raph and I to join him.

TCRI and a smudged date of about one month ago. Raph and Mikey read the document intently as I search for more Krang files. I find several and ask Donnie what to do with them. "Take pictures with your t-phone and try to bring it back to the lair with you!" He orders.

Immediately, the three of us use our t-phones to snap pictures of the documents we find, not bothering to waste time reading them yet. Donnie can analyze them at the lair.

"I'm in!" Donnie announces, finally hacking the computer system. We gather around him to stare at the computer screen. He connects his t-phone to the computer to download several files onto it until he stumbles across a large file titled Malford, NY.

"Hey, we have a base there." I say before telling him to click it. Several videos and documents appear, dated from two years ago to today. I squint at the screen. The man's face is so recognizable. His peppery gray hair, big brown eyes, leathery skin, crooked smile. My eyes widen in horror. "Uncle Gio." They all begin to ask questions and I shush them, placing my hand over Donnie's to click the video immediately.
