"eleanor," he says. "i was thinking today about how much i love you. but how can i even answer that? how do i describe the feeling? knowing that in another life, another mind, another body, i would always chose you. there would not be one universe or existence where i would desire anything or anyone else. i'm so in love with you, the thought of a life without you in it, makes my world pause in its orbit. i love you in every dimension with all of space and time."

as i was standing there, processing each word he had just spoke, i couldn't help but think of my mother.

she would've loved to hear what he said because this is the type of love we watched in the movies. this is the type of love you see in the classic romance movies.

the notebook, titanic, romeo and juliet. i remember when i was younger, i wanted to find someone who loves me as much as my parents love each other, and i found it.

and there are so many things i want to say back, but it's going to be very hard to top what he had just said.

"the best love is the kind that awakens the soul and makes us reach for more, that plants a fire in our hearts and brings peace to our minds, and that's what you've given me." i say. i quoted one of our favorite lines from the notebook.

he takes a couple of steps towards me, as i take a few towards him. we meet in the middle of the gap.

"you love golf? really?" i say. "i really thought you were going to say it." i added.

"say what? i really do love golf, playing it, watching it, the whole thing." he says.

"i hate you." i say rolling my eyes.

"oh really?" he replies before placing his lips on mine.

"we're just friends." i say after we pull apart.

"oh are we now?" he says before he reconnects our lips once more.

"i knew it, i knew it, i knew it!" liza said when i told her that josh and i are dating. once i left his house and made it back to my own, i called her.

"i'm happy for you, el." dal said from off screen somewhere.

"congratulations, els." liza said with a grin.

"thank you, i'll talk to you guys later, ok?" i say, we exchanged goodbyes and she hung up.

i called stefon. "hey, el. you need something?" he said once he answered. he was laying on his couch, one hand behind his head.

he noticed how big i was smiling and furrowed his eyebrows. "what happened to you?" he asked.

"josh and i are dating." i said.

"yeah, i know." he said turning the camera to josh who was chilling out on stefon's couch.

"hi eleanor." he said with a slight wave before stefon turned the camera back to himself.

"am i gonna have to third wheel now?" stefon asked with a slight groan rolling his eyes.

"don't act like you weren't wishing for it to happen." josh said from offscreen.

"i'll talk to you later, el. you're interrupting bro time." he said jokingly. "i love you."

"i love you too, stef." i said before hanging up the phone.

i called trevon, who didn't answer, so i texted him the news. as i waited for a response, i thought about what my mom would think.

i want to tell her as soon as possible because i know she'll be over the moon. but if i tell my mom, i'll have to tell my dad and he's more overprotective of me than my brothers are combined.

i know mom isn't feeling to great today, so i'll tell her tomorrow. we have dinner tomorrow night, so that'll be the perfect time.

i got an email that i have to report a game on sunday, although i wasn't supposed to, i said yes. i kind of miss working a little bit.

i get to report on the falcons vs. bengals game in cincinnati on sunday. i set some of my stuff in a corner in my room so that it's easier to pack on saturday.

i've never been to a cincinnati game before, but i know the bills play them for monday night football later in the season.

i've obviously watched bengals games before, a couple actually, but i've never reported on one. my goal is to report on a superbowl one season.
