Please Don't Leave Me

Anakin was the one to see your ship's engine fail. Anakin was the one to see you crash into the atmosphere of the surrounding planet.

Anakin's whole body froze, he couldn't lose you. He didn't know what he should do, but then your voice came through his transmission, "— Anakin?!"Your voice laced with fear spoke to him.

Your fear snapped him out of his trance and he knew what you had to do.
"(Y/N) EJECT....EJECT....EJECT!!!"Anakin screamed through his transmission. He raced after you in his own ship and entered the atmosphere. He saw your parachute in the sky and let out a relieved breath. Your body landed still rather harshly on the surface of the planet, making him wince on your impact.

He landed close to where your body lay and jumped from his ship. Anakin pulled the parachute from over your body and saw you were unconscious. He checked your pulse and found it to be dropping slowly, terrifying him.

But the head wound on your forehead is what made the Jedi worry. He commed the council to send a medical ship for you. "Stay calm Anakin, we shall be there as soon as we can!"Obi-Wan informed him and Anakin nodded.

He went to his own ship and got a medical pack and opened it. He took out the gauze and disinfectant and began to work on your head wound. He was sort of relieved that you were unconscious for this part as he knew this would sting.

He stroked your hair from your face. He practically begged the force for you to be alright. "Please don't make her leave me!"He whispered as he held the girl he loved to his chest.

Obi-wan arrived in a medical ship and he spotted Anakin holding a person to his chest. He ran off the ship once it landed where two nurses followed him with a stretcher. Anakin looked up and picked up your unconscious body.

The head nurse instructed him to place you on the stretcher and he did so as gingerly as he could. He held your limp hand in his as the nurses picked up the stretcher and carried it back into the ship.

Anakin sat next to you as the nurses worked around him to help you. Obi Wan placed a comforting hand onto his former padawan's shoulder. "She'll be okay, Anakin!"Obi Wan told him as the two watched the nurses help you.

The ride to the temple was very uneasy as Anakin remained at your side. He was not about to leave you; he couldn't. If he ever lost you it would be as though his heart had been ripped from his chest.

He had secretly loved you for years, but seeing you laying motionless had made him see that The Hero With No Fear needed to get over his fear and confess to you before it was too late. That is if you ever woke up.

5 days had passed since your crash. You still hadn't woken up and the only indication Anakin had that you were alive was the EKG machine.

Anakin hadn't left your side since you were brought in. Obi-Wan came in time to time and force fed him but besides the bathroom Anakin never left the room.

He watched as your chest moved up and down at a steady pace. The doctors had been hopeful and optimistic about your odds of waking up, but Anakin still worried. It was a common trait of his to do so.

The only sound in the room was the steady beeps of the EKG machine telling him that your heart rate was good.

It had been about 3 days ago that he had felt one of your fingers twitch on his hand. You hadn't done anything after the fact however.

Anakin held your hand that was not attached to your IV and held it to his face. "Please be okay!"He mumbled into your hand, "I need you!"He says on the verge of tears. He closed his eyes and pressed his lips to your knuckles, "I love you! please don't leave me!"He pleaded.

"I'm not—going anywhere—Ani!"A scratchy voice replied. Anakin whipped his head up to see your eyes staring at him with a soft smile on your face.

He broke out into a smile and he jumped from his seat and hugged you tightly making you wince. He immediately released his hold, "sorry,"He apologized but you shook your head.

"No worries—Ani! you didn't mean too!"You tell him and he sits back down in the chair. He grabs your hand again and a soft blush dusts your cheeks.

"Do you need anything?"He asked you, staring at you lovingly.

Your throat had gone suddenly dry. You pointed at your throat and Anakin knew what you were asking for. He grabbed a cup of water that had been meant for him on the side table. He brought it up to your lips and you sipped it.

The water wasn't cold anymore, but at that point you would have taken boiling water. You could feel the moisture return to your throat and you pushed the cup away and Anakin set it back down. "Thank you!"You say, your voice more normal than before.

"How long have I been here?"You ask him blinking around, not used to having your eyes open.

"5 days." He answered. He leaned over and brushed a piece of hair from your face and cupped your cheek, "(y/n) you scared the shit out of me!"He said looking at you with saddened eyes.

You bring your hand up and grabbed his from your cheek. "Hey! I'm okay!" You remind him pulling him so he was sitting on the edge of the bed.

Anakin looked down at you and smiled nervously. It's now or never Space boy! He told himself before looking back at you. "I-I-uh..."His voice was lost to him just as soon as your lips landed on his.

His brain short circuited as your lips were on his. He cupped your cheeks being careful of your injuries as he kissed back. You pulled back and smiled at him, "I love you too!"You admit and he couldn't do anything but smile.

He was about to lean in and kiss you again when the door swung open revealing Obi Wan. He came in with a tray of food that he nearly dropped when he saw you were awake. He rushes over to you and pushed the tray into Anakin's hands as he hugged you softly.

"I'm happy that your awake, (y/n)! You gave this one quite the scare. He wouldn't leave your side to even shower, and seriously Anakin you need a shower!"Obi Wan said making you laugh at the face Anakin gave Obi Wan.

"Thank you for that lovely comment Obi Wan!"Anakin replied before rolling his eyes. Kenobi chuckled before leaving saying he would inform the nurses that you were now awake.

Once Obi Wan was out of sight Anakin set the tray down and leaned in to kiss you again but you pushed him back. "Obi Wan's right you do stink like decaying Wampa!"You say fanning your hand near your nose.

Anakin pouted cutely, "wow! I spent 5 days in this rigid chair being force fed by my old master, just to be harassed about how I smell by the girl I love!"He ranted.

You laugh and pull him closer to you, "just kidding! I'll take a kiss from you anytime, my smelly boy!"You say smiling. You were about to lean in when the door opens once more.

Anakin huffs before pulling away from you. But you grip his arm, "please don't leave me!"You say.

He smiles and leans in close, "wouldn't dream of it!"
