Lounging with your husband in the tall flower fields of Naboo was truly wonderful. The two of you barely could be together most of the time, because of the war of course, but also your stations within it.

You were the queen of Naboo and Anakin was a Jedi Knight and General of the 501st. When he was a Padawan before the war he was stationed to protect you and you two had fallen in love unintentionally. Your jobs often left you with very rare moments you could be together, especially moments you were alone. Your husband had gotten quite good at escaping out the window of your bedroom to return to the temple.

But on rare occasions quite like today neither of you had any duties and responsibilities and could just be together. You had had the kitchen staff pack you a picnic lunch and your advisor was seeing to it that you would not be interrupted today. She was one of the few people you two trusted with your secret marriage. Obi Wan was another and was at the moment covering for Anakin at the temple.

"One of these days we are going to get caught, I just know it!" You tell him and Anakin looks up from the flowers he was fiddling with to chuckle.

"Yeah well hopefully we can end this war before that happens and I can leave the Order and live with you here on Naboo!" Anakin said hopeful. You nodded and turn away from him to look at the landscape.

You didn't talk much for the next 10 minutes not that you needed to, simply being in each others presence was enough. You then felt something be placed on your head and you looked up to see Anakin.

He settled the now complete flower crown on your head and you looked at him confused. "Every Queen needs a crown, beautiful; flower or otherwise." He explained which brought a deep blush to your cheeks.

"Well every queen needs a Knight. Will you dance with me oh handsome Knight?" You ask standing up from your spot on the blanket. You held out your hand and Anakin couldn't help but smile and graspedyour hand in his gloved one and stood up.

He bowed and held your hand in his and placed a kiss upon it. "Who am I to refuse the Flower Queen?" He joked and you laughed as he pulled you in close to him.

Anakin took a step and then another he wasn't a graceful dancer by any means, but he did try; if only so that he could please you. He spun you out and then back into his chest. He eventually got some rhythm and became more confident in his dancing ability as you danced longer.

No music needed to be played, it was just the natural music that came from the wildlife around you. Not that either of you minded, you were with each other and that is all that really mattered.

Anakin tried to do fancy footwork and wound up tumbling over his feet with you landing on top of him. Both of you burst out laughing, "are you..okay?" You ask between your giggles.

Anakin let out loud chuckles before answering, "I'm alright flower queen; I got landed on by a beautiful woman, I think I'll live!" He answered before using his gloved hand and cupping your cheek.

He leaned up and brushed his lips against yours. You sunk into the kiss as you felt as though you had not kissed him deeply in ages. Your legs hug his hips as he kisses you, not wanting this moment to end. Anakin's hand went to the back of your dress and fervently started untying the bodice.

Your hands went to remove his own clothes and he let you. Your dress slid from your shoulders revealing you to your husband. He pushed you off of him gently so he could remove his pants. He then went back in to kiss you once more.

This whole time not a single word uttered from either of you. Not that it needed to, your bodies were speaking more than a single word ever could.

He layer you down onto his splayed Jedi robe in the grass and smiled down at you. The flower crown he had made for you remained displayed on your head as he kissed up your body. He showered you with love only he could ever give you.

When you had to return to the palace, Anakin hid in the shadows. "Did you have a good day, your majesty?" Adrina asked you once you returned inside.

You bit the inside of your cheek and nodded, "I did, how were things while I was gone?" You asked.

"Nothing major to report!" She announced before leaning in closer, "how was he?" She asked.

"Perfect as usual, but I already miss him and it hasn't even been 20 minutes." You tell her and she chuckles.

"When this war's over, (y/n); you'll get your chance to be together, I just know it and all these times apart will have been worth it!" She says trying to lighten your mood.

You smile and go in to hug her, "thank you, Adrina, have a good night!" You bid her farewell before walking up to your bedroom.

Removing your cloak you hung it up and stared at yourself in the mirror. Your hair was a wild mess and your cheeks were rosy from the previous nights actions. Your dress had been put back on rather in haste. You looked disheveled and not like a Queen of Naboo should look. But you didn't care, because placed atop your hair was the flower crown.

You pulled it delicately from your hair and stared at it with love. It was no bejeweled and expensive hunk of metal; no it had thought and love threaded through it. This crown meant more to you than any jewelry item ever could, because of the person who had made it; your beloved Anakin.

You opened your drawer of your desk and pulled out a leather-bound book. You opened it and flipped through it seeing all the flowers Anakin had given to you over the years, preserved within these pages. You flipped to a new page and placed the flower crown within it before closing it and holding the book to your chest.

You clung to the book as you laid in your empty bed, missing the one person who made sleep manageable. Anakin equally had a hard time falling to sleep that night. He missed the way he would hold you as you drifted to sleep. The way he would run his fingers through your hair to calm himself down enough so he could fall asleep. Anakin had a pillow sprayed with your perfume that he cuddled with often. It wasn't you, but it would have to do.

Alike you Anakin needed that sense of security that the other person brought them. The book and the pillow held similar significance, because it showed that you were their other half. Anakin owned your heart; and you weren't just the queen of Naboo, you were also the queen of his heart.
