A Galaxy Apart

Anakin was on a mission, not that that was out of the ordinary for him. He was not a fan of being away from his wife even in the best of times. He hated this mission in particular, he was in a pressed black suit and his hair was slicked back.

He itched at the bow tie at his neck, he hated it. He walked into the hall and was met by expensively dressed people.

When he walked in a few women noticed him, not that he cared. A woman in a red dress that flowed elegantly to the floor strutted over to him as he made his way to the open bar.

"Well hello, handsome!" She purred into his ear. He looked over and got a full face of cleavage. She had puffed out her assets to make them seem bigger than they actually were.

He only glanced at them for a moment before looking back at the woman's face. "Can I help you, ma'am?" He asked raising his eyebrow at her.

She pouted her red lipstick painted lips at him and leaned closer to him. He subconsciously leaned back disliking this woman's advances. "I'm sure we can do something worth your while!" She purred ignoring his obvious disinterest in her.

He shook his head and smiled, "no thanks miss, I happen to be married and am happily so!" He let her down easily.

She clenched her jaw and huffed, "your wife is a lucky lucky girl, having such a loyal husband such as yourself!" She said almost defeated and with a strained smile.

Anakin smiled, "no I'm the lucky one, believe me!" He said smiling as he thought fondly about his wife who was safe at home.

The woman couldn't take it anymore and walked away.

Anakin let out a breath of relief at that the lady finally got the hint. He was not interested nor would he ever be. His wife was the one person he could ever see himself with. The lady had been right, he was loyal.

He knew that he could have just about any woman he wanted. But that was a trick question, because their is only one woman he ever wanted in his bed. He could have cheated on his wife and she would have been none the wiser. But Anakin Skywalker was loyal to his wife even when they were a galaxy apart.
