Damn guys this one is hella sad so warning you of possible tears! Bring tissues guys!

Also this is basically a compact version of ROTS but your character in place of Padme. I write this disclaimer just so I don't get called out for Plagiarism or something.

Anakin Skywalker stood in the Chancellor's office, "if you learn the ways of the dark side you may even be able to save your wife and your dear child from certain death." Palpatine spoke.

Anakin looked at the Chancellor his eyes widened, "what did you just say?" He ignited his lightsaber, "so you're the Sith Lord." Anakin realized aiming the blade at Palpatine's neck.

"I know what's been troubling you; listen don't continue to be a pawn of the Jedi Council." Palpatine spoke calmly to the young General.
"I have known you for a long time, you have been searching for a life greater than that of an ordinary Jedi; a life of significance." Palpatine said walking slowly away and Anakin kept his lightsaber up ready to make a move if the Chancellor were to strike. "Are you going to kill me?" He asked turning to face the young Jedi.

"I would certainly like to." Anakin said his eyes giving away his hate.

Palpatine turned away and smirked knowingly, "I know you would." He said, "I can feel the anger bubbling within you, it gives you focus, it makes you stronger." Palpatine complimented turning to face Anakin.

Anakin realized what the Sith Lord was trying to do and he looked down at his lightsaber before turning it off. "I'm going to turn you over to the Jedi Council." He said looking up to face the Sith.

"Of course you should but you're not sure of their intentions are you?" Palpatine asked.

"I will soon discover the truth of all this." Anakin said.

"You have great wisdom, know the power of the dark side, the power to save (y/n)." Palpatine said before Anakin ran off.

—time skip—

Anakin was instructed to stay at the temple by Mace Windu, but the longer he thought the longer he began to question if he should stay or go help. He eventually made up his mind he went to the Chancellor's office.

He walked in to see the 3 dead Jedi at the entrance. But then he saw red and purple flashing lights coming from the office. He ran to see Windu holding his purple saber toward Palpatine.

"You are under arrest, my Lord!" Windu spoke.

"Anakin—I told you it would come to this; the Jedi are taking over!" The Chancellor said in a scared voice.

"The oppression of the Sith will never return! You have lost!" Windu spoke with authority.

No! NO! NO!NO! YOU WILL DIE!" Palpatine sneered force lightening shooting from his fingertips. But Windu was prepared and he blocked the lightening with his saber making the lightening ricochet back onto the Chancellor. "Traitor! TRAITOR!" Palpatine screamed.

"HE IS THE TRAITOR!" Screamed Windu the force lightening began to scar and disfigure the Sith Lord.

"I HAVE THE POWER TO SAVE (y/n)! THE POWER TO SAVE THE ONE YOU LOVE! YOU MUST CHOOSE!!!" Palpatine spoke looking toward Anakin.

"DON'T LISTEN TO HIM ANAKIN!" Windu demanded continuing his disfigurement of the Chancellor.

"Don't let him kill me! Anakin help me! HELP ME!" Palpatine pleaded as he stopped the force lightening attack.

"I am going to end this! Once and for all!" Windu said.

Anakin looked up at Windu and spoke, "you can't! He must stand trial!" Anakin said to the Master.
