Bam held a book in his hand as he read while patiently waiting. After a few words, he flipped over to the cover, taking a look at it before grabbing his phone to snap a quick picture of it.
Surprising to some. He was an avid reader as he took multiple trips to different bookstores just to purchase new books weekly as his ravishing book collection grew.
A horn sounded off catching his attention as a familiar black Honda Accord pulled into a parking spot, two cars down from his.
He shut his book and unbuckled his seatbelt, climbing out of his car as he prepared to meet his "brunch date" halfway. The door to the Honda Accord opened, as he saw a pair of nude heels hit the ground and out climbed Harmony.
Bam instantly took notice of her attire as she wore a light blue denim jumpsuit paired with an LV handbag and nude heels. Her white toes complimented the embellishments of the heels along with her signature gold watch and necklaces she always wore. While not to mention, her hair was slicked back into a low bun.
Damn... he thought to himself as they met each other halfway.
"Hey." She spoke first, looking up from her watch.
"Wassup." He gave her a once over again. "You look pretty."
She did a slight spin. "Thank you. You know, I do what I can at times."
"I see." He held eye contact, holding his arm out to the side for a hug.
He hoped that she would return it and gladly, she did.
"How are you?" She asked, pulling away from the hug first.
"I'm good although I'm starving. How are you? I see you all dressed up for your big boy job now." His eyes took notice of her outfit once again.
"I am." She smoothed her hands over her jumpsuit. "I took my lunch break early from that 'big boy job'. So I could have brunch with you."
"So in other words, you're telling me I should be grateful?" His lips curved into a smile as he opened the door for them to enter First Watch.
"That's exactly what I'm saying."
"Well, then I appreciate it."
Harmony turned to look over her shoulder, only giving him a simple nod. "Two." She spoke, pointing between the two as they stood at the hostess stand.
