Cairo leaned his forearm against the smooth leather of the armchair, waiting patiently. His right leg tapped at a moderate pace, a hint of anxiety creeping in. This familiar feeling washed over him before every therapy session, uncertain of the topic his therapist would bring up.

With the help of the rehab center, both his therapist at the rehab center and the one he had met with on the outside collaborated. In hopes of Cairo continuing to do therapy once rehab ended, his therapist didn't want him to go through an emotional tow of repeating what he had already said to someone once before.

"Mr. Carter?"

Cairo opened his eyes, his gaze shifting over to the door as she entered. She took her seat across from him, reaching for his folder. The folder held everything that he had written about over the past month. "How are you doing today?"

"I'm good."

Cairo watched as she clasped her hands together. "So, I'm going to be the first to tell you this... You will be getting discharged in two days."

Cairo quickly shot his eyebrows up in response before adjusting his posture. Although his expression wasn't screaming as if he was happy he certainly was. He was ready to go home, ready to adjust back to his normal life, work, and everything else he had left behind for almost two months.

"So, being that today is our last session together. We're just going to focus on what we hope life will be like after you leave here." She continued. "I want to ask you a few questions to help you visualize and plan for your transition."

Cairo nodded, feeling a mix of anticipation and nervousness.

"First, what are your immediate goals once you leave the rehab center?" she asked, her eyes gentle but probing.

"Getting back into my routine," Cairo began slowly. "Repairing my relationship with my girlfriend, work, spending time with my people, just... living my life again. But in a healthier way."

She nodded encouragingly. "That's a good start. I know that you are a busy man, it's not easy to run a trademarked business let alone in three different states. To my understanding, that's where we talked about that some of your stress was coming from that."

"Yeah... it's weird though. I felt stress from the backburner of handling everything business-related by myself but I also find work to be my outlet at the same time, to relieve my thoughts." He stated. "I love what I do, I've been doing it since I was a teenager. But, it's time for me to hire someone to help me with the back burner of things, someone that I can trust."
