After three hours on the plane, Turks & Caicos greeted Haven and Cairo with a warm, sunlit welcome. The salty breeze and vibrant blue skies hinted at the adventure ahead. Their first stop was to pick up a sleek Jeep Wrangler, their rental car for the trip. While the private driver in Jamaica had been a luxurious touch, they both agreed that there was nothing like the freedom to explore on their own schedule with no agenda but their own.

As they drove along the scenic coastline, Cario glanced over at Haven as she peered out the window. The view among them held her attention more than her phone, the excitement of one of her dream vacations settling in her. Before long, they pulled up to their oceanfront, contemporary villa—their home for the next few days.

Haven stepped out, her eyes lighting up at the sight. "It's so beautiful," she said, taking it all in. This was her first time seeing it, as her fiancé had planned/booked everything.

Entering the open-concept living room, Haven wandered around, taking in the luxurious villa. The sliding glass doors overlooking the ocean instantly captivated her, the crystal-blue water putting her in a slight trance. The infinity pool, outdoor shower, and rooftop terrace promised they'd have plenty to keep them occupied during their stay.

While she explored, Cairo grabbed her luggage and carried it upstairs. He'd left the choice of their room up to her, knowing she loved picking the perfect view. Both king suites came with en-suite bathrooms, but the views were entirely different. He'd have chosen quickly, but Haven was a sucker for a view that spoke to her.

"I'm in here," she called out when she heard his footsteps approaching. He followed her voice, finding her on the balcony of one of the rooms, recording a video of the stunning ocean view. Setting her bags down, he stepped out to join her, wrapping his arms around her waist and resting his chin on her shoulder.

"Why'd you pick this one?" he asked, his breath brushing softly against her neck. The tickle made her tilt her head slightly, a smile playing on her lips.

"The view is better," she said, pausing her recording and lowering her phone. "And the balcony has more space. You know... room to move around."

Cairo's laugh came easily, the double meaning in her words clicking instantly. "Got it." He said giving her waist a playful squeeze. "We'll put the space to use later."

After settling in quickly, they were now on the hunt for food. After scrolling through nearby options, they decided on a crab shack to satisfy Haven's craving. It didn't take her long to decide on her usual—shrimp, potatoes, and corn. Meanwhile, Cairo opted for wings and fries, seafood not being his thing.

"Here you go." A waitress approached their table, carefully setting down Haven's margarita along with two glasses of water. "Anything else you two need?"

"No, we're good, thanks," Haven replied with a polite smile, reaching for her straw.

As she stuck it in her drink, the waitress gasped, her eyes locking onto Haven's hand. "Oh my gosh, your ring is so beautiful," she gushed, her excitement genuine. "Just married?"
