"Thank you so much for the help!" Judy exclaimed smiling as I gave back the wrench. "No problem" I replied graciously "uh, by the way, Judy, do you happen to know anything about the silverglade castle's mysterious crying?" "Hm? No, sorry, maybe Carney does?" She theorized nodding her head towards a man sitting on a picnic table idly typing on his phone. I mumbled a quick 'thanks' before walking over to him.

He looks up at me as I approach him. "Yes?" He asked, his voice sounding like unfiltered coffee grounds. "Do you know anything about the Silverglade Castle mysterious crying?" He shook his head. "I'll check Jorvikipedia if you can do some things for me. I need some soil tested, you just gotta retrieve the sample from over there and find some form of sprout too, thanks" and before I could reply he was back on his phone, however more quickly typing, almost as if his fingers were just hovering over the screen and not actually touching it.

It didnt take long to find what he needed, an eyesore of a machine and a grape, returning back I put it on the table in front of him, he got startled but quickly regained his composure. "Thanks, kid. Didn't find anything on Jorvikipedia though, sorry to dissapoint" Something about his face made me think he didn't actually care if he dissapointed me or not, however there was no reason for me to be a stick up the rear end so I refrained from commenting on it.

I got pulled over by Judy who thanked me profusely for the pipes. I smiled awkwardly back at her. "You should tell the baroness about what you've done, she'll be super happy with you! She's a powerful ally" Judy ranted. I zoned her out and thought about it for a second, yeah, it would be nice to be friends with the Baroness, or at least have some good word in.

Riding over to her I waved, she gave me a gracious wave back, her movements elegant and graceful. "Hello dear, who might you be?" She asked, her voice just as elegant and graceful as the rest of her, having a bit of wear in her voice. "Y/N L/N" I replied nervously "I uh fixed the plumbing" her smile became slightly more unproffesional before she recompozed herself. "Thank you for helping us, now the grapes wont come out as bad as they are going to be now" she sighed and looked at me for permission to continue. "Actually, its too big of a trouble for you, dear, I wont bother you with GED stuff" she haphasardly waved me off.

"I've dealt with the GED before, at Moorland" I exclaimed, planning on getting a bit more on her good side before asking about her castle. "Oh? You'd help me? I'd appreciate it very much, my legs arent what they used to be, speak to the boss at the oil rig in the Everwind fields, good luck, ms. Y/n" she pointed in the direction I had gone for the soil testing and she exquisitly removed herself from the conversation.

It didn't take long for me to find the boss, and I recognized him immediately, his clean khaki suit stood out against the dirty grounds around him. He had a smile on, that instantly turned bitter at the sight of me.

"We meet again" venom lacing his voice. I let out a cold 'hm'. "You destroyed my plans of building my condos back at Moorland, that really cost me a lot of money, you know? This oil is mine, and youre not stopping me this time so turn your little horsie around and buzz off" he grimaced, shooing me off.

I headed back to the vineyard looking for the Baroness, when Judy appeared right behind me scaring the living shit out of me. "Y/N, could you please go to the veternarian in Silverglade Village and return the soil samples?" Her cheeks had gotten the same shade of red as earlier and if she wasnt holding a stack of buckets I'm sure she would fiddle with the sleeves of her jacket. "Sure" I smiled. "Youre the best, you know that? The manors knight in shining armour" "I try" she giggled at my reply, before continuing to walk towards the stables.

"Are you the girl from the manor? Good, we've got some heavily contaminated grapevines I'm afraid" the vet said. "Be careful of the GED guards while you head back"

I havent seen so many GED workers before, sneaking past them I barely managed to dodge their vision, luckily due to their equipment their vision was foggy.

Judy gave me an appreciative smile before looking at the results. Her smile quickly faded into a thin line. «Just as I feared» she looked back at me. «These grapes are contaminated, what are we going to do when the Baroness finds out?» Judy frantically looked around for the baroness.

"Carney, pass me that bottle" Judy shouted at him as he tossed the bottle effortlessly over. He was busy working on a machine and his phone was buried deep in his pocket. "Can you fill this with some oil from the everwind fields? We need to see if that's the source of the contamination" Judy practically begged. I let out an affirmitave hum and rode off, sneakily getting the oil.

It was fairly easy, considering there were major leaks in some places and not a lot of workers, due to them being out still searching for me in the Village. Mr. Kembell was distrached aggressivelly talking on his phone, making this a walk in the park.

"Great work, Y/N, you seem like a person that can get any job done" she smiled at me. "Carney! Test this oil will ya?" He grumbled and stopped what he was doing to pull out a smaller machine. "Gimme" he said unenthustiastically.

None of us said anything as we waited for the result. The only thing heard was the beeping of the machine and people talking and riding their horses around.

The machine finally let out a louder beep. "We have the answer, are you ready?" Carney looked at me and Judy, she nodded like her life depended on it. Carney looked at the result he had gotten and opened his mouth to tell us the result.
