"Now I'm serious, that horse of yours is way too fast, its not supposed to work like that" Sonja stated when she caught up to me by the manors entrance. "Words of a sore loser, your horse is just slow" I smirked, earning a dramatic gasp from her.

"Ready to head to the Baroness?" I asked. Sonja shook her head. "Or, well I mean I'm not planning on, you go though, I've got chores to do" she trotted off before I could say anything... weird.

I caught the Baroness up with everything that happened and she seemed relatively impressed. "I don't think Herr Kembell is on to us yet, can you head to the post office and get them to mail these to my son Aron? He will find out if there really is anything fishy going on with the machines" I nodded and rode off.

Riding to the village I looked at the castle, I was going to find out who was in there, perhaps I could ask the Baroness when I return after delivering the letters, now that she owes me big time.

Returning back I prepare to ask the Baroness my ever longing question, when I spot the horse from earlier. It's dark black coat and... the hooves almost light up.. it almost immediatelly clicks where I've seen that horse before. That horse's rider stole the documents back in Moorland!

I need to know who owns that horse, now. Searching around for Judy I asked Carney where she was. "Trying to catch some horses that escaped, if you need anything ask Tyra" he pointed at a brown haired girl with pigtails raking up hay.

Riding over she didnt seem to notice me until i called for her, multiple times. She took out an airbud and smiled at me, "how may I help you?" She piped up. "Do you know who owns that horse?" I asked nodding towards the jet black horse. "Hm? Khaan? I think Sabine owns him, she came here last week, the last day before Linda left actually.." Tyra gazed off into the difference before suddenly getting air breathed into her again.

"Was she out riding early morning today? Like 4.30 am near Moorland?" I asked. Tyra furrowed her brows and bit her cheek. "It sounds odd that she would do that, but you can ask her yourself, shes the one with the black hair where Judy usually stands" Tyra spoke, resuming her previous job raking hay.

EBSabine didn't even look up at me, even when I spoke to her, however she did reply, in a voice laced in venom, she said "why are you casking me this? Of course I havent been riding  tin the middle of the night! I dont even know you! Why are you implying I've been to Moorland?! Why would I be at that hellhole when I've got a perfectly functional stable here, learn yourself some manners before you speak to me again" Sabine walked off before I could comprehend what she said.

That was certaintly one way to react. I sat there stumped for a good 15 minutes before she returned. "Hey sorry, that was rude of me, I guess I was feeling a bit insecure or something, I'm new here y'know? Is it too much if I ask you a favor? Why don't we start over, I'm Sabine" She smiled an unsettling smile. "Y/N" "Friends?" "Sure"

"Great! We will have so much fun together! You dont happen to know Justin Moorland do you?" She asked hopefully. "I do" "Fantastic! I've got a letter for him, from an uh unknown relative.. I'm not that familiar with the land outside the manor yet so can you just take it to him?" She begged.  "We can ride together, get to know the area a bit" I smiled.

"Ha! I cant be seen over there... you know reputation and things! Please just ride to Justin and give him this, I'm asking as a friend" She begged, and I nodded. She smiled at me, and left without saying a word, handing me the letter.

Something felt off about this letter, and Sabine's whole complete persona change. However I did ride down to Justin to give the letter, something I later regretted doing tremendously.

"Y/N! Long time no see, good to see you" Justin greeted. "Good to see you too, Justin, I've got a letter here for you" I smiled. "Oh? A letter?" Justin pondered before opening the letter. "How is the manor holding up, by the way?" He asked me. "The grapes have been contaminated by some oil thats being dug up nearby" I informed him, earning a sigh from him. "We can manage here without you though, I think the manor would appreciate some help after Linda dissapeared-" Justin stopped mid sentence.

Justin looked up at me. "Tell my father I'll be going on a trip, I- its my grandfather— if this is true... I need to leave right away!" Justin scattered off into a door in the wall, presumably his home.

Thomas was out on his horse in the field by the blacksmith. Thomas' face went from smiling to a face of pure despair when I told him what Justin is doing. "What are you saying? Justin cant leave to see his- my- this is bad.. really bad, we need to stop him from leaving, now."
Thomas rode off to the stable with me right behind him. Thomas jumped off the horse and into the same door Justin had ran off to 5 minutes ago.

Thomas came running out with tears on his waterline, threatening to spill like an overflowing glass. "He's gone.. my son is gone..  I'll never forgive myself for letting this happen" Thomas tried to collect himself and cleared his throat. "Who uh who gave you the letter? You never mentioned  who gave it to you"

"Sabine did, I dont know if you know her, shes new to the manor-" "Sabine? Of course I know her! Shes been terrorizing my family for far too long." "Her horse looked like the one that attempted to steal your documents" "ah, of course" Thomas scowled. "Listen, you need to ride back to the manor, we need to find out everything we can find out about this girl" I nodded.

As I turned to leave I stopped. "Thomas" I called, making him look at me. "Don't blame yourself for this, I was the one who delivered the letter" "Y/N" Thomas stopped me from leaving too. "Don't blame yourself either, Sabine is a master of trickery"
