Episode 3: Caught

The next morning, Kenny, Mike, Rebecca, Sarah, Jane, Nick, Clem and I were in the yard, about to discuss the plan again. "Someone's gotta get the radio out to Luke. What's the problem?" Rebecca asked.
"We should probably figure out who's doing what before we..." The door opened. Kenny immediately stopped talking and hid the radio. "Time to get up." Tavia said. "Daylights burnin'. They let you sleep in, all things considered. Rebecca, Nick, Sarah, Jane...if you gotta take a piss, do it now. The next break won't be for a while. Troy's comin' for the rest of you."
"Why just them?" Kenny asked.
"Like I said... Troy's comin' for the rest of you." Tavia took the four and closed the door. "All right, look. If we're gonna do somethin', we have to do it NOW, and if Luke's all we got, then we pair up with him." Kenny said.
"I can do it. Where's the meetin'?" Mike asked.
"Mike. Clementine should do it." Kenny said. "She knows Luke, she can hide, she got the damn radio for us in the first place." Kenny said.
"I'll do it." Clementine said.
"I can do it if you can't." I told her.
"No, its okay." She said. I took a radio and stuffed it in one of my pockets. "I'll take one too in case if  you get held back for something."
"All right little chickens, lets get to peckin'." We heard from Troy as he came to us. "And don't think today's gonna be like yesterday. No way. No shenanigans. This rooster's gonna be surveilling your ass every second of the day, you hear?" He asked. "Got that?" He asked again, getting Clem's attention. "I'm afraid I need an answer, girl."
"Yessir." Clementine said. We followed Troy. Kenny stopped Clem. "Oh, you have your pockets all out." He put the walkie talkie in Clem's pocket. We followed Troy out the yard.

We were almost at the door, but Bonnie stopped Troy. "Wait up. She's with me." Bonnie told Troy.
"I'll give him the walkie I got." I whispered to her. Clementine went with Bonnie. I continued to follow Troy until we got to the store next to the comic store. "Wait! Troy?" I stopped him. He groaned and looked at me. "What is it?"
"Would it be okay if I went into that comic store? I want to see if theres anything interesting in there." I said as an excuse. He looked at me and then let out a sign. "Fine. Go." He said. I went in the store and waited a few seconds. "Luke?" I called out. "Its, Y/n. You can come out." I said. I checked behind a few cardboard cutouts and behind the desk. I still couldn't find him. Troy kicked the door open. "You're in trouble now, boy!" He said. I walked to him and he slapped me in the face. He then grabbed me by the arm and dragged me out. We were outside and he threw me to Kenny. "Get over there!"
"HEY!" Kenny shouted at Troy. Troy motioned us to keep moving.

We got the yard. Everyone one else was there. Everyone including Luke. Carver was there too and he held up a walkie talkie. "Whatever you were planning is done. Its over." He said. "And you can help me to earn back your trust by telling me where the other one is." No one said anything. I inched my hand closer to Clem's jacket pocket to grab the radio. I got my hand right next to it and in a swift motion, I grabbed it. "I found--"
"Its right here! I got it!" Kenny grabbed it from me. He went to Carver and returned the walkie talkie. Next thing I heard from Kenny was, "heh, fucker" before Carver bashed Kenny in the eye with the walkie talkie. "Stop him! Somebody stop him!" Sarita said. She tried to run to Kenny, but Carlos restrained her. Clem was about to run to try to help him, but I stopped her. "Stop!" I said. I turned and looked. I shook my head. "Fuck it." I muttered. I ran for it to try to help Kenny. Troy tried hitting me, but I wad able to dodge him. Next thing I felt was the back of Carver's hand. I felt to the ground. "Bill!" We heard from Bonnie. "Thats enough Bill, please!" Carver stopped bashing Kenny's eye. "Bill, there's a breach!" Carver dropped Kenny. He and Troy left and Bonnie stayed for a moment. "Get him moving, Carlos. We're leavin' tonight." She told us before leaving.

The night came. We were all in the yard. Kenny was knocked out and Carlos cleaned him up. Luke was with us and we went over the new plan. However, Luke thought of something else. "If we're leavin' tonight, we might wanna think about leavin' some people behind." He said.
"What? No way! We're not leaving Kenny." Clem said.
"This is ridiculous! Forget that, Luke. We're not waiting, and we're all staying together." I said.
"No one wants to leave Kenny." Luke said.
"Good, 'cause... you won't have to." We heard. Kenny was up, and he had a bandage wrapped around his eye. Sarita hugged Kenny. "I'm all right. We leave tonight. Plan don't change." Kenny told us. He looked at us. Clem almost broke down in tears as we went to hug him. "It's all right." He said.
"All right. Well then, what now?" Luke asked.
"The PA system. Its the walker's dinner bell." I said.
"Where we goin'? In case things get squirrelly and we gotta make a break for it." Kenny asked.
"We could meet out at Parker's Run." Mike said. "Its a Civil War site a few miles north. Tourist trap. Got signs all over. Just follow the road."
"So who's goin' for the PA system?" Luke asked. Everyone looked at Clem. "I'm gonna need a boost." She said.
"And bring Alvin with you." Rebecca said.
