Episode 4: Making Plans

We were walking back. A few things hit me. First was Sarah. "Well done, Clem. We saved her." I told her.
"Yeah. Sarah, I'm proud of you." Clem said. Sarah didn't respond. Then I went to Jane. "So? What was that? You were like, 'okay, lets do this' then 'we gotta leave her'. What was that?" I asked Jane.
"I just...I just panicked, okay?" Jane told us. I went back to Clem. I gave a smile to her. She smiled at me, but then looked down. "Whats wrong?" I asked her.
"Are you...okay?" She asked me. I looked at her with a shocked look. "I'm not sure I follow." I simply told her. We got back to the sight. Rebecca was with Bonnie. The two immediately came to us. "Hey, Sarah. How you doing, sweetie?" Rebecca asked. Sarah didn't say anything and pulled her shoulder back whenever Rebecca tried to reach out. "Its okay. We can talk whenever you're ready." Rebecca said to her. "Wait, where is Nick?"
"Uhh, Rebecca, walk with me for a second." Luke said. He took Rebecca's hand and the two walker away. Bonnie came to us. "So uhh, i have to ask. Does Luke know anything about babies?" She asked.
"Well, no i don't think so." I said.
"Man. Rebecca's letting on more than she can hold, and I doesn't know anything, Mike certainly don't, I don't even know how to ask Jane. That just leaves Kenny." Bonnie said.
"Okay. We'll go talk to him. Or just one of us. We shouldn't stress Kenny by giving him an audience." I said. Bonnie walked away and we stayed put for a minute. "So, you? You chopped Sarita's arm off. Me? I don't even know what do say or do." I mentioned.
"You should do." Clem told me.
"Okay, I'll go speak with Kenny. Wait outside for me, will you?" I asked my sister. She nodded.

I went inside the tent Kenny was in. "Kenny? I'm here to check on you." I said to him.
"You know what it feels like to be beaten almost to death?" He asked. "Peaceful. It feels peaceful. Like I was floating away, watching it happen." He told me. I heard Clem walk in behind me. "Then it was over. I woke up. And I'm still taking a beatin'. Every day. Duck. Katjaa. Sarita. No peace. No rest. The hits just keep coming." We kept quiet so Kenny could keep talking. "Why couldn't Carver have just finished me off? It's not like I'm helping anyone." Kenny ultimately said.
"Thats not true, Kenny. You help us all the time." Clem said.
"I've seen you two take care of yourselves and each other better than a group of adults could. But i appreciate it." Kenny said. Clem went over to look at Kenny. She raised his eye bandage a little. "Well?"
"Ah shit, does that mean?!" We heard from outside the tent from Luke. We went outside and heard the commotion. "Rebecca's water just broke." Bonnie said.
"Does that mean the baby is coming?" Clem asked.
"I...yeah, i think so." I said. Kenny came over. "I'll help out. Just breathe, okay?" Kenny started instructing Rebecca on what to do. "We should probably try to find shelter. And we need clean water." Kenny told us.
"We can explore around here. There's a deck nearby, and a museum." Bonnie said, looking at a map. "I'll head to the museum."
"I'll come with you to watch your back." Mike said.
"I'll go to the deck." Jane said.
"One of you should go with Jane. The other can come with us." Bonnie said. Clem looked at the path Jane was going. "I'll go with Jane."
"I'll go with Mike and Bonnie, then." I said. Clem hugged me before we split up.
