It's been about week and a half, probably.
Hard to keep track of when every day is basically the same.

Slowly closing in on the time you and Jake are separated for.

Falling into a sort of routine with Trudy and Neytiri.

You're all still keeping an eye on the base camps - they've grown in numbers but so far they're staying stationed.

That's about the best outcome you could get, considering everything.

They were coming in numbers, one way or another.

More clans were joining as Jake had reached them - and soon the place was filled with thousands of thousands of ikrans and dire horses.

They had all brought in so much to offer the new, larger family you had all begun to form here.

All sorts of different styles of food, different patterns for weaving baskets or bags - pieces of jewelry or body wear.

None of them had seen you in your human form yet, but at least they didn't take too harsh on seeing Trudy.

She spent more days with Bert and Evelyn back at the facility, trying to get them as set up as she could.

Only a few other scientists had managed to gather this far out and join them.
The others would have to wait until the battle had subsided.

You're in your Avatar form as much as you can be, welcoming everyone who comes in. They've been so kind and so open to the new things, ready to strike at any given day.

One of the new friends you made had even taken to styling your own hair and accessories after those of Jake's.
Your long, black hair braided away - except for some loose strands that came to about your chin.

She, Shafem, had done a beautiful waterfall effect around the crown of your Avatars head - and pulled the remaining into a fishtail. Separating it from the hair that covered your queue.
Something you found fascinating as it was so similar to styles on earth, that form of communication and beauty not lost between translation.

She also added some warm toned beads or leaves throughout, complimenting the style Jake had as he left.

Something to show that you two are together, despite not yet bonding like their practice calls for.

Assuming everything has gone well on Jake's end - maybe only a clan or two left to meet with - he should return soon.

It felt like forever.

It gave you way too much time to think, about everything.

The fear of the war oncoming, the sadness from worrying about what may happen, the relief of knowing that once this is over, the Na'vi can go back to their normal lives.

Or as close to it as possible, any way.

Quaritch wasn't going to win, even if it meant going down with him.
This was his one and only chance, and you would personally see through it that he doesn't succeed.

You're sitting amongst Neytiri and Mo'at, all three of you helping with making baskets or pockets for the Kekunan and Tayrangi clans to dress their Ikran with.

Nearly a thousand Ikran have come to grace everyone's presence. They were a little rattled at first, as one should expect, but quickly took to one another as their riders formed friendships between each other.

"Jake." Norm suddenly sounds, not wasting even a moment before placing his laptop down beside him. "Update from Max."
