One week later
"Girl no I am not mean you know how I am plus I didn't even remember that I seen the girl before I was focusing on not throwing up" my cousin laughed at me
"You are very shy I know this but you are also kinda me they just wanted to be your friend and you shot them down you need to make some friends because me and Mookie aren't gonna be there all the time anymore
To hold your hand you have to step out of your shell little cousin" I rolled my eyes "why does everyone want me to step out my shell my shell has kept me safe for years I like my shell it's designer"
I joke making my cousin laugh "because you about to be 18 and never had a kiss, you don't know your sexuality,you dress perfectly fine but honey your kinda a dork with them thick ass SpongeBob glasses"
I put my hand on my chest and fake gasped "well damn tell me how you really feel I apologize I wasn't born with 20/20 like you"
She just rolled her eyes "girl take my advise for once talk to them maybe the will be cool people and if not there is plenty of more people you can make friends with this world his huge"
*time jump*
Ight so I'm at school and I just got to English 12 I walked right in and sat at my seat and I didn't see the girl so I thought I was cool but a few minutes later in she came with a group of boys following behind her one of the being the boy that was at my house
As soon as she came in she immediately spotted me and whispered to the boy that was at my house bro I really need to learn their names so I can stop calling them the boy and the girl but anyways
The both smiled at each other and walked over to me the girl sitting in the seat next to me and the boy sitting in the seat behind me
"Good morning baby girl did you think about us" I didn't say anything I just put my head down because why would she ask me that "I see she still got that little attitude maybe needs us to fix it"
I didn't know what they were talking about so I started to sink in my desk I wish I could just disappear "please leave me alone" I said loud enough for them to hear but quiet enough not to make a scene
"Why you want us to leave you alone do we scare you or something" they probably didn't expect an answer but I kindly answered "yes" they both looked taken back by what I said but before they could ask me follow up questions the teacher started talking
"Ok so today we are gonna be doing something a little different we are doing a project on black people with money but not just any type of money
Money from having brands,businesses,partnerships I need it all from when they became famous what they became famous for when they were born where they were born I need all that
And this is a group project so I paired you with who sits in your group assuming y'all get along if not let me know I will change it immediately if I can
And last thing this is a full time project you will work on it in school, after school,and if you can go to one of your partners house and work on the project that would be great
I expect a poster board full of pictures color and creativity but I also expect a slide show full of information color and creativity as well I need your projects to move me because these will be for half your grade for the semester"
Oh my fucking goodness I just got here the project is not a problem it actually sound pretty easy but working in a group with these two what the fuck is wrong with this lady and I don't wanna change because I don't know anybody else
But anyways I'm the middle of my self rant I felt someone touch me making me flinch slightly I don't like being randomly touched it creeps me out "damn baby girl you good I ain't mean to scare you"
I nodded my head not even looking up at them and just nodded my head "so who house we going to baby girl" I shook my head
"The teacher said that's optional I would like to keep this only at school" I said quietly still not looking at them "nah that just won't do baby girl you haven't been here long enough to know our lovely teacher she is telling you that we are only gonna be working on the project
But just to make us stay after school and work on it she gives us work to do in class then let's us work on the project last minute and due to us having basketball practice after school we can't do it in the library because about time practice is over the school is closing for the day
So like my man's said who house we going to because I don't fail" the boy doesn't talk much but when he does he's very aggressive he scares me the most they both have very deep voices they are half my size and kinda pushy
"My house is fine then" they both nodded "ight now put your number in our phone we can call you after practice is over so we can start this thing"
I rolled my eyes to myself "you know where I live I feel having my number is unnecessary" they both sucked thief teeth and the boy said "our parents drove we weren't even paying attention to where you live please just stop being difficult for two seconds"
I let out a tiny huff then pulled a sticky note out my book bag and wrote my number on it not wanting anymore conversation with them right now
I then handed the girl my note then to my pleasure the bell ring so I quickly made my way out the class
