"I don't even wanna go with her all I do is sit around board and get bothered by her other kids which is crazy because they are all teenagers" ok so it's around the time for mid semester break which is fine but also not fine

My mom cheated on my dad with their dad shits just weird then they expect me to be pleasant when I go down there to stay with them but fuck that family
"Raven it's not up for debate you argue with me every time you have to go but it's court ordered you have to stay with your mom for only a week leading up to the holidays and you come back home the next day what's the big deal
You don't see her any other time and she pays child support it's the least you can do" I rolled my eyes
"Why can't she stay here for a week I have my own room here and I have free will at their house I'm forced to do labor and I sleep in the same room as her annoying youngest offspring"
My dad rolled his eyes "first off I don't even like your mom like that so she will not be staying in my house and at least you have a bed and you have your own car it's not like you have to stay there all day
And it's only 30 minutes away better then when we lived in Texas and you had to catch a plane every three months that's a part of the reason we moved down here to please stop being difficult baby girl just pack your bag you'll be fine"
I rolled my eyes one last time before going to my room and packing 3 duffel bags with everything I needed for the week and some shoes I can just put in my trunk

Ok so I just pulled up to my moms house and I instantly wanted to ride back home and call the judge myself
You see I love my mom but I dead ass don't like her she's one of those moms that doesn't let you go out,you have a bed time,no company,no speaking out of context she's just kinda a control freak
But I got myself together took a deep breath then got out my car waking up to the door and knocking on it
It took a few we for someone to answer but here came my ghetto twin standing right in front of me but he just opened the door looked me up and down the walked away I rolled my eyes but still walked into the house closing the door behind me
"Where's my mom" all of my siblings were sitting on the couch but nun of them said anything to me which is fine I don't give a fuck "that's cool I'll find her myself"
I then went to the kitchen and see nobody then I went to the back den but still nothing then I went upstairs to see her laying down with her door wide open "hey momma" I said very unenthused
My mom seen me and immediately got out of her bed giving me a big hug "on my baby how have you been you look so pretty" I smiled because like I said I love my mom she just made some mistakes in her past and those mistakes
Just so happen to be very annoying "thank you mom uhh where am I going to be sleeping so I can get my bags out the car" my moms smile dropped and she said
"Well your little sister has been very serious about her privacy for the last couple months so I was thinking we could put you in the den and just give you some curtains for privacy"
Y'all see what I'm talking about this shit right here "that's fine I guess but I really could just go back home and you can call me back to the house when we have an event or something if it makes it easier"
My mom frowned "girl nonsense it's my time with you your daddy gets enough of your time it's just a little bump we'll get past it" I huffed and said "yeah your right I'll go get my stuff from the car"

"Raven Tiana come here for a minute pumpkin" I was on the bed couch In The den before my mom called me it sounded like she was in the kitchen so I just got up and walked into the kitchen to see her standing there with her husband Chris
"Yes momma" she pointed to the chair in front of her and continued to cut up vegetables while I sat "ok so I know you haven't been to my house in a long time but you know i still have some rules
Your daddy told me you have been acting a little different lately and I just want you to know that nun of that will be taken place in my house you hear"
I reframed from rolling my eyes but just said " I understand" she nodded "ight now but your old rules still stand you have to wash the dishes on your day and vacuum the house
