CHAPTER IX : EXTRAORDINARY MERRY CHRISTMAS

Everyone was in the choir room, decorating it as merrily as possible, with a massive Christmas tree, presents covering the piano, tinsel, lights, and stockings everywhere. It was a joyful time and I couldn't have been happier—well maybe I could've been if my parents were going to be in town for Christmas. They had been home for all three days before being called away again. But I pushed those thoughts to the back of my mind and Blaine scooped me up, his arm around my waist and my knees, spinning me around.
All I Want For Christmas Is You — Mariah Carey (Sung By The New Directions)
___________
"So," Blaine said, closing my locker "What does my wonderfully beautiful girlfriend want for Christmas?" "Parents that care about me" I bitterly muttered under my breath. Tucking my books into my arms "What was that, love?" He asked, putting his arm around my shoulder "I said, I don't mind—whatever you think I'll like" I said, smiling softly up at him "Naya, I know that is not what you said" He said, raising an eyebrow at me as we walked outside into the courtyard. I sighed as we sat down at a table, he took one of my hands in his and used his free hand to cup my face "You can tell me anything, you know?" "I know, I know. It's just, my parents—they're away for Christmas this year. They were away for Sectionals, they were away for my 16th birthday, they were away when I had a photography exhibition at my old school, and they were even away Moriah gave birth to pretty much all of her kids. Ever since Moriah was old enough to look after me by herself, they've just never been around. So what I said was, what I want for Christmas is for my parents to actually care about me more than their stupid jobs" I said frustratedly, gently easing his hand off my face as I felt tears come to my eyes. I quickly wiped them away and sniffled quietly "I'm just being stupid, some people don't even have parents I shouldn't be complaining. Just me being my overdramatic self as usual" "It's not stupid, Naya. You deserve to have your parents there when you want or need them. You have a right to complain, your parents aren't being good parents" Blaine said, rubbing his thumb against the back of my hand comfortingly. I smiled softly, looking down at our joined hands "If it makes you feel any better, my parents are away this Christmas too, and I am not spending it with my older brother, so why don't we spend it together this year? Just the two of us?" I looked up and saw the genuine smile on his face, finding myself nodding my head in agreement "Yeah, okay. That sounds nice" I said. He untangled his hand from mine and cupped my face with both hands, pulling me in for a kiss.
___________
The choir room did look amazing with all the decorations. It just had such a cheerful aura around it with the Christmas tree standing tall in the corner and the reefs hanging everywhere. Santana, Mercedes, Rachel, and I couldn't help but stand in front of the tree, admiring it "We might have spent our entire decorating budget for the whole year, but with something that looks as absolutely fabulous as this, I have to say, bravo-ho-ho-ho" Rachel said, staring up at the tree in adoration. I smiled, putting my arm around Rachel and squeezing her kindly. I went back to my seat as Blaine and Kurt arrived with the rest of the group "Hey, everybody, listen up. My man, Rory Flanagan here, want to say a few" Finn said, patting Rory on the back and going to sit down "Thanks, Finn Hudson. So, guys, my mummy was going to come to visit for the holidays, but plane tickets are expensive, so it's my first Christmas without any family. I'd like to cheer myself up by dedicating this to them—and the king" "Jesus?" Kurt asked confusedly. Blaine and I both gave him weird looks and shook our heads as did Rory.
Blue Christmas — Elvis Presley (Sung By Rory)
I wiped away the tears that the song had brought out of me away discreetly. I flicked my hair out over my shoulders and acted like I hadn't been crying "Gosh, that song was so depressing. I maybe actually be dead right now" Santana said insensitively "I—I think, what Santana means is, although that...that was mournfully beautiful, now that the whole Glee Club is back together, I think that we should focus on the more joyous and the pageant aspect of this holiday season," Rachel said, trying to maintain a cheerful exterior "Rachel's right. Last Christmas was super sad. Kurt was at another school" "You were?" I asked quietly "Yeah, how do you think I met Blaine?" Kurt said, furrowing his eyebrows "Well, I don't know. I thought you two were on a date when I met him so I didn't question anything" I whispered back quietly, shrugging my shoulders "Coach Sylvester trashed everything and Artie got a pair of magic legs that broke the next day. We were the island of misfit toys" Tina said sadly "This year is going to be..." "This year, it's a whole new sprig of mistletoe," Mr. Schwe said, striding into the room "Guess who's not getting coal in their stockings for once—us. Rory have a seat. I just got off the phone with Don Borowski, the local station manager at Lima's PBS affiliate. Turns out that their annual broadcast of the Yule log burning has been canceled" "I fully thought he was going to say Yule Ball" I said to a myriad of confused stares "Yule Ball? Goblet of Fire? Harry Potter? No? Okay, weirdos" "The hell?" Puck asked Mr. Schue outraged "Yeah, they can't afford the licensing fees anymore. But thank you, Scrooges, who own that copyright, because Don came to Sectionals, he loved what we did, and he is offering us-" "A Christmas special featuring all of us? Okay please say you said yes" Rachel said excitedly "Not only did I say yes, but when Don said that they were looking for a director for the special I nominated you, Artie" My eyes widened and I clapped Artie on the shoulder "Me?" He asked in shock "He saw West Side Story, loved your work, and he wants to take a meeting" "But I—I swore I would never sell out and do television" Artie said uneasily "I'm really going to have to think about this, Mr. Schue" Everyone exchanged confused looks but left Artie to make up his decision as the bell rang.
__________
Rachel was performing a song, one that
she thought would be good for the Christmas special, which luckily Artie had agreed to direct.
River — Joni Mitchell (Sung By Rachel)
"Dude, why are all these songs making me cry?" I said, chuckling softly as I wiped away my tears "Rachel, could you come see me?" Artie asked once the clapping had died down a bit "Yes, Artie, of course" She said, smiling sweetly and getting down from the stage "And if this is about my ears, I know that they're a little naked right now, but that just because I'm waiting for s special. So, what's up?" "It's not about your ears, it's about the song. It makes me want to kill myself" Artie said bluntly. I had been taking a sip of water from my water bottle when he said that and almost choked, Sam rubbed my back gently, stopping me from choking "You okay?" He said trying not to laugh. I nodded my head, wiping a bit of water from around my mouth as Rachel went defensive "I'm sorry, Joni Mitchell is not depressing, she's emotional" She said, straightening up where she stood "It doesn't fit my vision for our Christmas spectacular" "And what is that exactly?" Rachel asked angrily. Artie wheeled up behind the seats as he began talking "We begin in the Swiss Alps, in the village of Gstaad, in the perfectly-appointed living room of Natalia Vasquez and Blaine Anderson's chic swank chalet" I looked up and behind me, smiling warmly at Blaine "The tree towering and opulent. The fireplace is draped in garlands. The stockings are bejeweled. Naya and Blaine, the perfect hosts have invited their friends to drop in for an evening of Noel Coward-esque banter and fun, happy, cheer-filled songs" "Are you telling me I'm not invited to Naya and Blaine's for Christmas?" Rachel sadly asked "Not unless you pick a happier song," Artie said, wheeling back over to Rachel "The evening's festivities conclude with Rory, dressed as the Christmas elf Itchy, reciting 'Frosty the Snowman.' Start with fun, end with fun. That's how you do it, kid" "The Frosty story isn't fun" Sam said, annoyed "At the end, he melts and dies" "I'm rebooting Frosty. In my version, he doesn't melt. He...well, new pages forthcoming" "Isn't that like plagiarism or something?" I asked Finn, who sat in front of Sam and me. Finn shrugged his shoulders as Sam stood up "What's wrong with a story that's a little sad or a song that's a little depressing? I mean, that's part of Christmas, too, right?" Sam asked angrily, I tugged on the hem of his hoodie, trying to get him to sit back down but he brushed me off "It's the sad things that make you remember what's important" "Sorry, Sam, but the phrase is 'Merry Christmas' not 'Morose Christmas'. That's the vision. That's what you have to buy into" "Well, sorry, Artie, I'm not buying into it. I'm gonna go downtown, and see if I can ring one of those Salvation Army bells. Come on, Rory. I'll give you a ride" Sam said, walking out of the seats and to the top of the staircase. Everyone turned to look at Rory, who faltered under everyone's gazes "I should memorize my part, Sam" Rory said. Sam was silent, staring at everyone before leaving the auditorium.
__________
Rachel and Blaine had come up with an upbeat song for Christmas and were performing it in the choir room. I wasn't singing with them but during the song, Blaine had called me up to go and dance with them.
Extraordinary Merry Christmas — Original Song From Glee (Sung By Blaine & Rachel)
I quickly kissed Blaine on the cheek before going to just down beside Quinn "I bow to you. Gold, Gold! That's what I'm talking about! I see Cheerios behind you, kind of a dancing Santa thing" Artie said excitedly "Just as long as they don't upstage us" "Yeah, as long as they don't upstage us" Rachel and Blaine went and sat back down as Artie wheeled up to the front. Just as he was about to speak, Sue walked in—smiling "Look at you, do-gooders. Hard at work" Sue said, strolling further into the room "Coach Sylvester, we're in the middle of rehearsal" Artie said, trying to get her to leave "Yeah, and I think it's great you're working so hard on your performance. And I'll tell you what. Everyone at the homeless shelter is really looking forward to the show" I exchanged a confused look with Quinn, she had no idea that we were doing this - like me. I saw Blaine shuffle around in his chair awkwardly and sighed, they had done something wrong "I just wanted to confirm with you, Artie, that we're on for Friday night" "Oh, Friday. It's a no-can-do on Friday. We're taping our Christmas special for the Lima PBS" Artie said regretfully "You told me you were in" "This is a huge opportunity for us. Can we just do it another night?" "Homeless will be homeless for a while. That's sort of the problem" Santana insensitively interjected "I promised them. You don't want to disappoint these kids" "Hmm like your behavior has disappointed us for years? Last Christmas, you cut down our tree, you stole our presents and you made Becky dress up like a reindeer" Artie said matter-of-factly "She really did that?" I whispered to Quinn in surprise, Quinn nodded her head and I muttered a small 'wow' under my breath "So you're gonna walk away from people who have nothing?" Sue said disappointedly "No, not at all. We're just gonna distract them from their plight and the smell of urine and make them happy with our glamorous Christmas cheer" Rachel said happily "The homeless don't have TVs" Rachel's smile faded and a beat went by where no one spoke, "So you're all agreed on this?" Everyone was silent, looking very ashamed of themselves "Fine. Merry Christmas" "Let's take it from the top, guys. And remember, smile"

I took a deep breath as the camera panned around to show Blaine at the window as the music began playing.
Let It Snow - Vaughn Monroe (Sung By Blaine & Naya)
[Blaine]
Oh, the weather outside is frightful
But the fire is so delightful
And since we've no place to go
Let it snow, let it snow, let snow
[Naya]
It doesn't show signs of stopping
And I've brought some corn for popping
The lights are turned way down low
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
[Blaine with Naya]
When we finally kiss goodnight
How I'll hate going out in the storm
But if you really hold me tight
All the way home I'll be warm
[Naya]
The fire is slowly dying
And, my dear, we still good-bying
[Blaine]
But as long as you love me so
[Blaine with Naya]
Let it snow, let it snow, let it, let it snow
Do, do-do-do, do-do-do-do
Do, do-do-do-do, do-do, dodel-do-do
[Blaine]
Ba-ba-ba-bap, hey
[Naya]
Ba-do-do-do, do-do-do
Ba-do-do-doo-doo-doo
[Blaine]
Ba-do-ba-do-ba-do-ba-do-ba-do
[Blaine with Naya]
Do-do-do, do-do-do, do-do-do
Ooh
[Naya]
Wooh
[Blaine (with Naya)]
Oh, the weather outside is frightful
But the fire is so delightful (Fire is so delightful)
and since we've no place to go

[Blaine with Naya (Blaine)]
(And) since we've no place to go
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow (Oah)
[Naya]
It doesn't show signs of stopping
[Blaine]
And I've brought some corn for popping

[Blaine & (Naya)]
Let it snow (Let it snow)
[Blaine & Naya]
Ah, oh-oh
[Blaine & (Naya)]
Oh, let it snow (Oh, let it snow).
As the song finished I took the cue and walked to the door, opening it to face the camera. Pretending it was a person, I smiled warmly at it "Hello! Well, I guess we're all in the spirit of the season by now. Let me apologize for not introducing myself sooner. I'm Naya Vasquez, one of your hosts this evening"  Fake applause sounded out and Blaine came up behind me wrapping his arm around my waist "Thank you, and this is my boyfriend and holiday roommate, Blaine Anderson" "How do you do? Welcome to our chalet" Blaine said in a weirdly posh voice "We've also asked a few of our other special friends to drop by. But I hope they can make it over the mountains and through the woods in this dreary weather" "Oh, come on, now, Naya. You know if they get stuck in the snow, they can always hitch a ride on Santa's sleigh" Blaine said, winking at the camera. The fake laughter played again and I rolled my eyes playfully like scripted "Oh, you!" "Hey, it's true!" "Oh! Oh, I'm terribly sorry for keeping you standing outside, shivering on the porch. Please come in. Please come in. Watch your step. Come on now" I said, welcoming the camera into the set "Come right on in. Make yourself at home" "Blaine, please offer our guests some holiday libations. I apologize, but I must check my bid on the Elizabeth Taylor Christie's jewelry auction online" The fake laughter played again as Blaine offered the camera some drinks "Naya" Blaine said laughing slightly. I ran up to a higher level of the chalet, and sat on the computer, pretending to read "Oh, no!" "Oh, what happened? Did Mariah outbid you on that necklace you wanted?" Blaine asked as the fake laughter played again. He made his way up to me "That I could take! The Internet is down because of this inclement weather. I didn't get to put my bid in on time. Christmas is canceled!" I said, dramatically face-planting into a cushion. The doorbell rang and I sat up quickly "Who could that be?" "The door's open. Come on in" Blaine called out, stepping over to help me up. I smoothed out the velvet dress I wore with one hand, whilst taking Blaine's with the other "Oh, sorry, we're late. Hope there's still eggnog" Rachel said as she, Mercedes, and Kurt walked in carrying bags. Blaine and I walked over to the door and welcomed them in "For you three, always" I said, letting go of Blaine's hand "Oh, Naya, how are you? You look great. I love what you've done with the place" Rachel said as I placed a kiss on each of her cheeks in a friendly manner "Just a splash of color" I said, waving my hand and going over to Mercedes, hugging her tightly, then doing the same to Kurt "Oh, forgive me! Everyone, these are our very good friends, Rachel Berry, Kurt Hummel, and Mercedes Jones" Blaine said introducing them to the viewers "What's going on, guys?" Mercedes asked, taking off her jacket "Well, we're on television" "Oh, television? Us too? Hello," Rachel said, staring directly at the camera "This is for you, Naya" Kurt said handing me a gift bag whilst staring into the camera lens "For me? May I open it?" "Oh, I wish you would" We walked quickly over to the sofas in the room and sat down. I placed the gift bag on the floor and started to rummage through it "Oh, my dear. Oh, what is in here?" I asked, picking up a box from inside the bag. I opened it and faked being shocked "Oh, my goodness! Oh, my dears! How did you know? Ladies and gentlemen, if you can believe it, from the Elizabeth Taylor auction, ladies and gentlemen, it's Miss Taylor's diamond and emerald necklace and pendant" I exclaimed, showing the camera the necklace that resided in the box "Thank you, Thank you so much. I cannot believe it. Truly a Christmas miracle" "Truly a Christmas knockoff" Mercedes whispered to the camera and I pretended not to hear. Blaine re-entered the room, carrying a large bag "Mercedes, don't give away all of our secrets" Kurt said, passing a present to Rachel. Rachel handed it out to Blaine "Blaine, this is for you" She said as he accepted the box from her hands "Oh, why, thank you so much, Rachel"  "It's a bow tie with little Christmas trees on it" Rachel said from behind her hand "Oh, would you look at that?" Blaine exclaimed, holding the bow tie up to show the camera "And there's a little surprise under the wrapping paper" Rachel said in a sing-song voice "Why they're candy cane striped Capri pants. You know what the best part is? I actually don't already own a pair. If you can believe that" "Oh, jewels and short pants and bow ties and good friends. Truly, this is an ideal evening. But, Blaine, you know what's really needed now" I said, patting Rachel and Mercedes' knees "Oh, I think I do. Rachel, Mercedes, Kurt?" Blaine said, gesturing towards the piano in the room "Oh, we couldn't possibly" Kurt dramatically exclaimed "We're not prepared! We're not prepared!" Rachel said, covering her mouth with her gloved hands "Oh, come now. The piano's just sitting there, it's ivories waiting to be tickled" Blaine said, raising an eyebrow "Well, there is a little something that we've been working on. I'm in if you two are" Rachel said, doing a little jazz hands movement "Well, it is Christmas after all" Mercedes said, nodding her head "I'm always up for a little song and dance!" Kurt exclaimed, standing up. Everyone stood up and gathered around the piano "Oh, Kurt, Mercedes, Naya, Blaine, you know, I've realized that there's some favorite things that can't be bought online or in a store or even in a catalog. They're right here in front of my nose. For instance..."
My Favorite Things — The Sound Of Music (Sung By Rachel, Mercedes, Kurt, Naya & Blaine)
"Say, when's Christmas dinner?"
Mercedes asked as we all plopped ourselves down on the sofas "Oh, no, you guys! With all the guests and the songs, I forgot to turn on the oven!" I exclaimed over-dramatically "Naya!" Everyone exclaimed, laughing "Oh, great. Whatever else could go wrong? I suppose we'll have to find out after these messages from our sponsors" The cameras cut and I breathed a sigh of relief "Do you know how stressful this is? My throat hurts from talking so high-pitched" I said, leaning back on the sofa. Blaine patted my knee and smiled softly at me "You doing great, love" He said lovingly "Yeah, Naya, You've accomplished a lot in your first few months of Glee Club, I'm sure your parents are so proud of you" Rachel said, smoothing out her hair. My smile faded a little but no one noticed luckily. My phone buzzed offset and a crew member passed it to me. It was a message from Moriah.
Moriah:
We're all crowded around the TV watching the Spectacular and loving it! I'm so proud of you Nay-Nay.
I smiled down at the message and quickly typed back a reply
Naya:
Thank you! I'm so glad you're enjoying it. Just wish mom and dad were too :(
Moriah:
Don't worry about them, you've got me! Now stop texting and get back to your show, we're waiting excitedly.
Naya:
Alright, alright. Say hi to the family for me!
I turned off my phone and handed it over to one of the crew members as the cameraman announced that we were back on air in three, two, one "And then I said to Justin Timberlake, 'That's not eggnog!'" Kurt said, hanging up some stockings over the fireplace "Gee whiz, you guys, it's really coming down out there" Blaine said, pointing out the window at the fake snow. I walked over to him, peering out of the window, and he secured an arm around my waist "Blaine is right, you guys. Global climate change is no laughing matter. Our over-reliance on fossil fuels is causing erratic weather patterns like this one" I said, sighing sadly "I think these are the end times" Mercedes said gravely. Blaine and I moved over to Kurt, Rachel, and Mercedes, both perching on the edge of the sofa "Well, if there's one thing we can all agree on is that if it keeps snowing like this, Santa Claus won't be able to bring us our presents" Blaine said sadly. We heard bells jingling in the distance and I stood up quickly "Wait! Did you hear that?" Mercedes asked excitedly "Jingle bells?" Kurt questioned hopefully. The doorbell rang and in walked Puck and Finn dressed as characters from Star Wars "Sorry, guys. Just us" Puck said, waving at the camera. Rachel ran over to them and kissed them both on the cheeks, greeting them "Oh! How rude of me. Ladies and gentlemen, Finn Hudson and Noah Puckerman!" Rachel said, walking away from them with her arms outstretched. She accidentally stumbled into the piano but managed to play it off in character. I quietly asked her if she was okay and she nodded her head, giggling slightly "Say, are you dressed like Luke Skywalker and Han Solo?" Blaine asked, pointing at their outfits "No. That's copyright infringement. Any resemblance to Star Wars characters is purely coincidental" Finn clarified, making the fake laughter ring out again "Hey, guys, why the long faces? It's Christmas Eve or something" Puck said, walking further into the room, "We thought we heard Santa Claus, but with the climate change and end times, we just don't think Santa Claus is coming to town," Kurt said sadly "Well, that's not what we heard," Finn said, picking up a tambourine as Puck slung a guitar over his shoulders.
Santa Claus Is Coming To Town — Harry Reser & His Band Ft. Tom Stacks (Sung By Finn & Finn)
The doorbell rang again as the song finished and I stood up, looking at the door confusedly "Oh, my stars. More guests? I hope it's carollers!" I exclaimed. The door opened and in came Santana, Brittany, Tina, and the Cheerios dressed in short Santa-style dresses, with ribbons in their hands, and Mike dressed in a Santa costume.
Christmas Wrapping — The Waitresses (Sung By Brittany, Santana, Tina & The Cheerios)
"All my Christmas wishes have come true" I exclaimed happily "All except for one" A bell rang and Rachel gasped "Oh, my goodness, could it be? Could it be?" Rachel asked hopefully. Rory—or rather Itchy the Holiday Elf walked in, ringing a bell happily "Itchy the Holiday Elf!" Everyone exclaimed excitedly "We asked our friend Itchy to stop by and read us a light-hearted, heartwarming, upbeat, happy Christmas tale, 'Frosty the Snowman'" I explained to the people at home watching "Actually, I was going to read that but...I searched my heart, and I'm going to read one from a different book. I think it's something that's going to remind people what the true spirit of Christmas really is" Rory said, I smiled warmly at him. I knew when everything happened that day in the auditorium that I should've sided with Sam but I was too cowardly and I regretted it, I knew Rory did too—but now he was doing something about it "Are you sure you don't want to read "Frosty"? We all really want to hear
'Frosty'" Rachel asked, trying to prompt him into following the script. I threw her a sharp look and nodded at Rory telling him to continue "Lights, please" Rory commanded and the lights lowered, Everyone snuggled up close, and I placed my head on Blaine's shoulder as he wrapped his arm around me "And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them. And the angel said unto them—Fear not. For behold, I bring ye good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people: for unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord—And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host, praising God and saying,—Glory to God in the highest, and on earth, peace, goodwill toward men—"
__________
We all collectively decided once we had gotten changed into some nice clothes and cooked some food, to visit the homeless shelter and do what we had promised Sue. Pushing open the doors we all filed in, smiling brightly at Sam, Quinn, and Sue "Hey! I know we're late but we were all hoping there's still time to help" Artie said, wheeling in with a large platter of food in his hands "We brought the turkey from the special with all the fixings" "Yeah, it's a prop but it's real" Mr.  Schue explained "Why don't you put it on the table over there, kiddo" Sue asked, smiling warmly at all of us "You guys finally came around" Sam stated, coming around from behind the counter "Well, you can thank Rory for helping us see the light" Finn said as he and Rory brought in a Christmas tree "I was just following my Christmas sponsor's lead" Rory said, making Sam smile softly "Would it be weird if I made myself a plate?" Puck asked, but everyone ignored the stupid question "We have a song too. We were gonna perform it as our final number for our Christmas special, but we lost the final ten minutes of airtime when the station reached a last-second agreement with those Yule log people" Artie said, changing the subject from food "As long as it's not 'Jingle Bells'. It seems it's the only song our janitor knows how to play, and I'm bleeding from the ears" Sue said, serving up a plate of food.
Do They Know It's Christmas? — Band-Aid (Sung By The New Directions)
__________
I woke up on Christmas Day beside
Blaine in his bed with a wide smile on my face. I moved, checking Blaine's alarm clock and making sure it wasn't too early. I sat up and peppered Blaine's face with kisses, waking him up "Well that has got to be the best way to wake up" He said, smiling sleepily up at me. I pressed another kiss to his forehead and got up out of bed "Get up sleepyhead! It's Christmas" I exclaimed, going around to his side of the bed. He grabbed my hand and pulled me down back onto the bed and into his arms "Stay here with me, it's too cold to get up" He complained, nestling his face into my hair. I pushed away from him slightly and sat up a bit "Okay, how about I go and get our presents from downstairs and then we can open them in bed?" I suggested, standing up and grabbing one of Blaine's hoodies, which he rarely wore outside the house, slinging it over my shoulders. He nodded his head and I ran downstairs, grabbing the presents under the tree from each other, our parents, my sister and her family, his brother, our friends from the Glee Club, and any other random ones I found. I couldn't carry them all so I grabbed a big bag, that looked a little like Santa's sack and put them all in there. I dragged the bag up the stairs and into Blaine's room, he was sat up now a bit more awake. I dropped the bag on his bed and told him I was quickly going to brush my teeth. I brushed my teeth quickly and then practically ran back to his room, jumping on his bed "You're very eager" He said, pulling me closer to him "I just love Christmas" I said, digging into the bag and grabbing the presents I had gotten for Blaine, he did the same, grabbing the ones he had gotten for me. We had agreed on two presents each and no more so we didn't end up spending too much money "Okay who first?"
__________
"Okay, your turn," I said as I began to rummage through the bag for his last present. I handed it to him, it was a box similar in size to the one that had contained my necklace. He got rid of the wrapping paper quickly and took the lid off of the box. Inside was a black woven bracelet with silver accents and a silver plaque in the middle. On the plaque, there was an engraved phrase 'I love you - N' in my handwriting "You—You love me?" Blaine asked, reading the engravement. I blushed deeply and took a deep breath avoiding his eyes. He framed my face with his hands and tilted my head up to look at him "Naya, do you love me?" "Yeah, yes I do. I love you, I really, really love you Blaine Anderson" "Well, that's good because I really love you too Natalia Vasquez" He smiled softly at me and then back down at the gift before pulling me into a warm hug. I pulled back slightly and helped him fasten the bracelet around his wrist. We then proceeded to open the rest of our presents, talking excitedly about each of them. When we were done, Blaine was just staring at me, adoringly "What?" I asked confused as to why he was staring "You are the most fabulous, beautiful, and important person in my life"
