I will probably not get this out to y'all until Friday, but I'm going to start writing now. I'm hoping this chapter will be pretty good, but I don't really know how it will play out.

But I have something to say right now... accents! I wish I had a Southern, British, or Australian one! I mean, I love how they talk. It would be awesome! I wish I had some friends that talk like that, but they all talk like me, and it's not fun. But I have a tendency to randomly say things with a British accent. It was completely and 100% by accident! I was in Bio and I said "Can I have some more chocolate coins." My Bio teacher looks at me and goes, "What are you British?"

Really random and really weird, sorry, but that's how I am! :]

Now to the story !

Would it seem like I was insane if I said that I was pretty proud of myself right now? Not because of what I'm going to do, but because of what just happened with Jace. Once you're with your mate for as long as Jace and I have been together, it's hard to resist the pull between the two. It took everything I had not to run into his arms and tell him how much I needed him. Especially when he was begging for me to forgive him for something that wasn't even his fault.

I feel so bad for doing that. Though, I kept convincing myself that I'd make it up to him. Tokala would die tonight and I would kill him for Jace. Jace deserved everything he wanted and more. It was me that didn't deserve him. All of this was on me.

The sun was setting and I was getting more and more nervous every step I took toward my enemy. This is it. This is goodbye to everything else I've known.

It reminds me of one of my favorite songs. I started singing in a whisper, but it grew as the night started to fall.

"I can hear the truck tires coming up the gravel road
And it's not like her to drive that slow, nothing's on the radio
Footsteps on the front porch, I hear my doorbell
She usually comes right in, now I can tell

Here comes goodbye
Here comes the last time
Here comes the start of every sleepless night
The first of every tear I'm gonna cry

Here comes the pain
Here comes me wishing things had never changed
And she was right here in my arms tonight
But here comes goodbye

I can hear her say "I love you" like it was yesterday
And I can see it written on her face that she had never felt this way
One day I thought I'd see her with her daddy by her side
And violins would play Here Comes The Bride

But here comes goodbye
Here comes the last time
Here comes the start of every sleepless night
The first of every tear I'm gonna cry

Here comes the pain
Here comes me wishing things had never changed
And she was right here in my arms tonight
But here comes goodbye

Why's it have to go from good to gone?
Before the lights turn on
Yeah, and you're left alone
Oh! But here comes goodbye! Oh!

Here comes goodbye
Here comes the last time
Here comes the start of every sleepless night
The first of every tear I'm gonna cry

Here comes the pain-"

I stopped short when I reached the cave entrance. The chair that held Tokala was empty. And it's binds were broken. I gasped and heard his laugh.

He came from behind me. "Oh, Danielle," he said softly. "Did you really think you could kill me that easily? And you're right," he said in my ear. "Here comes the pain," he growled.
