Jade found herself at the train station once again, but this time it was filled with a bustling crowd of people. The majority of them appeared to be ordinary muggles, going about their daily routines. However, amidst the crowd, Jade noticed an interesting phenomenon. She observed a group of oddly dressed individuals - witches and wizards - mysteriously vanishing into a seemingly solid brick wall. Intrigued by this peculiar sight, Jade decided to investigate further. She discreetly followed a pair of dirty blondes who confidently made their way toward the mysterious wall.
With each step they took, Jade's curiosity grew stronger. She wondered what awaited her on the other side of the hidden entrance. Without hesitation, Jade mustered up the courage to follow suit. As she approached the wall, excitement surged through her veins. With a deep breath, she stepped forward and crossed the threshold, disappearing into the unknown. This is when she found herself on platform 9 3/4 for the first time.
Her heart pounded in her chest at the realization; 'I really am a witch. This is no dream. I'm really going to Hogwarts!'
When Jade finally calmed herself, she looked around and noticed a group of four redheads surrounding a boy with glasses. They were eagerly asking him if he was 'Harry Potter'. Jade, not understanding the excitement, pondered to herself about the significance of his identity. She couldn't fathom why it mattered whether he was Harry Potter or not. With that thought in her mind, she proceeded to find a suitable spot to keep her belongings and then boarded the train.
She carefully positioned the owl's cage on her right side, allowing her to have a clear view of the window. She settled into her seat and eagerly awaited the departure of the train. However, as time passed, boredom began to creep in, and she couldn't help but voice her discontent.
"Ugh, this is so boring," she grumbled to herself, her voice filled with frustration.
The silence of the train compartment only amplified her feelings of monotony. But to her surprise, a voice responded to her complaint, originating from her right side. Startled, Jade turned her attention to the source of the sound. There, perched in the owl's cage, was the source of the mysterious voice - the wise-looking owl, Lucius had given her.
"You're bored? Try sitting in a cage all day," the bird responded, its voice carrying a hint of sarcasm.
Jade couldn't help but be taken aback by the unexpected interaction. She was taken aback by the bird's ability to speak. The encounter had already been strange enough with the snake, but now a talking bird? It seemed like something out of a fantasy story. She couldn't help but wonder if there was more to this peculiar situation.
'No, it couldn't happen with more than snakes... could it?' Jade thought to herself, her mind racing with possibilities.
As she turned to face the window again, the bird interrupted her thoughts by speaking once more.
"Do you have a staring problem, human?" the bird asked, its eyes fixed on her.
Jade was startled by the bird's question, not expecting it to address her directly. She hesitated for a moment before responding.
"Wait, you can talk to me too?" Jade asked, her curiosity piqued.
She had always wished she could communicate with animals, and now it seemed like her wish was coming true.
"You can understand me?" the bird asked, its wings flapping excitedly. She just nodded too dumbfounded to say a word. "Well, then I've got a lot to tell you."
Jade turned her body to face the bird. "First off, even though Malfoy gave me to you, he's my only master. I'm only here till he tells me otherwise."
