'So, Nike here has a boyfriend,' Akashi teased his captain when she arrived at the gym for their training.

'Really?' Shone asked. 'Who's the lucky guy?'

'We are not dating,' Nike said. 'We just went to a bar last night and...'

'And?' both asked eager to know more.

'And we have a date later today,' she revealed.

Then, Shuro, the instructor, joined the conversation. He said, 'just don't let that distract you from the tournament.'

'I won't,' she assured him.

After training, Nike went home, had a shower, and then got into her halter-neck carmine dress. She was ready just in time. As soon as she put on her last earring, some car outside honked. It was Dane.

When she arrived outside, some firebenders were circling waterbender's cabriolet. They were looking at Dane with threatening eyes.

'What's the rich waterbender boy doing here, huh?' one firebender said.

'Came to do some charity?' another mocked him.

'If you excuse me,' they heard Nike's voice. 'You're annoying my date and you're annoying me as well.'

The firebenders stepped out of the way immediately.

'Sorry, Nike... we didn't know...' the firebender apologized and his friends left.

'I wonder why they respect you so much,' Dane commented while Nike got in the car. 'You're stunning by the way.'

'You too,' she complimented the male in the dark blue suit. 'So, where are we going?'

'Just wait and see,' Dane smiled as he kept driving.

Then, he stopped the car in front of the Yin-Yang Restaurant. That was the best (and also the most expensive) restaurant in the city. Nike had never been there, but she always planned on going there once her team won the tournament.

The two benders walked in, and Nike couldn't hide her amazement. The decorations were beyond beautiful. It was sophisticated and delicate while being welcoming and cosy at the same time. The walls of the dining room were white or had a shimmery grey colour and there was one with two big fishes representing the Yin and yang painted on it. The painting was signed by a famous painter from the Northern Water Tribe.

'Monsieur Dane,' a waiter greeted the waterbender as he walked to the couple at the entrance, 'and mademoiselle...'

'Nike,' the firebender replied with a friendly smile.

'Mademoiselle Nike, welcome. Please, come with me,' he said politely and led the two benders to their table.

It was a round glass table in the corner opposite the painting. The table was adorned with a small black vase of silver lilies and a simple but elegant white table covered with small white fish. The armchairs were equally chic and extremely comfortable.

Soon, after they sat, another waiter walked to them to hand them the menu and also the couvert.

Nike read the menu with hungry eyes. Everything sounded so delicious. She had no idea what she was going to eat.

'I assume it's your first time here,' Dane joked.

'Is it that obvious?'

'A little,' he chuckled. 'The Five Fish Stew is really good and so is the Bison Beef.'

'I think everything here is really good,' Nike laughed a little and Dane agreed.

The firebender followed Dane's suggestion and chose the Stew while the male picked the beef. They also asked for some Octopus fritters and Spirit Oasis tea.
