The Past In The Present - JIKOOK

Chapter 10

Time Square. The night sky was aglow with bright city lights. The pale crescent moon shone like a silvery claw in the night sky. We looked up at the blanket of stars that stretched to infinity. The occasional barking of faraway dogs broke the silence of the night. Two handsome man walking through the streets of New York. It was a cool and breezy night. A strong gust of wind blew against their laughing faces, they are a little tipsy, but still in sense of their mind, the alcohol giving them a little push and warmness in their bones.  

Those two handsome man are Taehyung and Hoseok. Hoseok wearing Taehyung's jacket, and Hoseok leaning on Taehyung's shoulder from time to time. If you were looking at them from a far, you would think first "what a cute couple". 

(Flashback when Seokjin and Jimin left)

After Seokjin and Jimin left, Taehyung and Hoseok didn't stayed long either, just dance to two more songs, and they didn't want yet to part, yet for this night to be over for them. So Taehyung suggested "Hey, you know what I'm kind of hungry, I know a little diner near by. It's pretty close, we can walk over there." 

Hoseok smiled, feeling all warm inside. Hoseok nodded, accepting the offer. 

They started to walk towards the diner, when it started to get really windy. Even though Hoseok had his thin jacket, he still shivered. Taehyung noticed, he also had a thin jacket, he took it off and covered Hoseok's shoulder's with his jacket. 

Hoseok flinched and said "OMG, Taehyung, I can't take this, it's so cold outside. Here, take it back." 

Taehyung chuckled and just tightly held the jacket on Hoseok's shoulders and said "We are almost there, and besides I am not that cold, keep it on." 

They looked at each other with smiles on their faces, Taehyung's hand still wrapped around Hoseok. Hoseok blushed, and Taehyung noticed, he said in his head "Cute." 

They reached the diner, and got inside feeling finally comfortable feeling the warm air and air of tasty fast food. The older women in her late 50's, having her grey hair rolled in a bun says giving the warm smile "Taehyung-aa, didn't see you here for quite some time." 

Taehyung chuckles and says "Oh you know how it is Rosie, business and stuff, and it's not healthy to eat here quite often right, only when you really need it." 

"You got that right, I am not letting my children or my grandchildren eat much of this junk food. Hey, who is this with you? Where is that bunny boy, cat boy and dimple boy?" Rosie said, now giving them the menu's, after they took a sit and looking at Hoseok. 

Taehyung laughs and says "Oh, on the business trip, work is important Rosie, right? And this is Hoseok, my new friend. We were clubbing and decided to get something to eat, we were getting kind of hungry from all that dancing." Taehyung winks at Hoseok, and Hoseok blushes.

Rosie nods "Well, he's cute. Keep him, Taehyung. Now, what would you like to order? Taehyung, the usual right? Taehyung nods, and Rosie continues asking "And you, cute guy?" 

Hoseok has a wide smile on his face and says "I would like to have two cheeseburgers, with corn and ketchap. And for drink, I would like to have cola." 

"Coming right up." Rosie says and leaves in the kitchen. 

"She's nice, seems you come here often." Hoseok said. 

"Yeah, she reminds me of my grandmother." Taehyung smiles in his mind of thinking of his grandmother. 

"Oh, where is she? Where are you from?" Hoseok asked genuinely interested.

"She's dead. I am from Seoul." Taehyung answered. 

Hoseok's face changed in seconds to a "I'm sorry" face and says "Oh, I am sorry."
