The Past In The Present - JIKOOK

Chapter 22

Third person's POV

It's night now, all of them are finished with work. The four friends are now sitting on the ground by their wracked ship. Jungkook told them that Eunwoo came for a "visit" and threatened him. Jungkook also said that Eunwoo knows about Ms. Hee-Young and Mr. Eun-Jeong. 

"I don't know guys, but it sounded like he was making a promise to kill them." Jungkook said. 

The other three looked at him in shock, and even feeling scared. 

"You think he will, but that doesn't make any sense, Ms. Hee-Young and Mr. Eun-Jeong are innocent people. They don't harm him in anyway." Taehyung said. 

"Taehyung, that maniac killed our innocent parents, just because they were noble. And maybe, because he didn't kill us, he wants to destroy everyone we are close to." Yoongi explained. 

"Hey, guys. How about we start to fight back, what if we stand up to him?" Namjoon suggested all of a sudden, making all three boys turn gaze into his direction. 

"What? How are we supposed to fight back, that guy is a killer." Taehyung asked. 

"Well, this is just a suggestion, but it's not bad. I saw this royal announcement, saying they are looking for a few royal guards. Of course, there will be training, but they offer us shelter and food." Namjoon said and they stop for a second to think about it. I mean, they can't live under an open sky forever and maybe they can bring justice. 

Their thoughts are interrupted by a sound of the horse, being panicked. All of them stand up, and they see a very familiar horse, it's Mr. Eun-Jeong's horse. 

Jungkook immediately goes closer to the panicked horse, he puts a hand on horse's head, trying to calm him down. 

"Shhh, buddy. Shhh. What's wrong, hmm?" Jungkook knew something happened, just don't know what. Maybe Mr. Eun-Jeong fell, or he is injured somewhere. 

"What's wrong with him?" Yoongi asks.

"I don't know, but something happened, that's for sure. Look, Yoongi, since you're the doctor. Come with me, since the horse can just endure two people. Maybe Mr. Eun-Jeong fell or he is injured." Jungkook said. 

"Yeah, You and Jungkook go, be safe. We'll stay here." Namjoon said, looking at Taehyung who nodded. 

Now Jungkook is riding a horse, with Yoongi holding him behind. They are going straight to Ms. Hee-Young's  and Mr. Eun-Jeong's house. 

When they arrived, Jungkook hopped of horse, and helped Yoongi to get down. They saw a door open, but not fully opened. 

Yoongi and Jungkook looked at each other, slowly and quietly walking towards the house. 

"Ms. Hee-Young and Mr. Eun-Jeong, are you there? It's Jungkook and Yoongi." Jungkook called for them and they entered the house. 

"Jungkook, that's blood. Here." Yoongi said, notifying Jungkook to follow him. And what they saw, they just kept looking in horror. 

It was Ms. Hee-Young and Mr. Eun-Jeong all covered in blood, looking at each other, bearley holding each other's hand. Yoongi immediately went down to check their pulse, while Jungkook is just standing there with his hand covering his mouth, tears streaming down his face. 

Jungkook looked at Yoongi for any sign, but Yoongi just shaked his head in a "no" 

Yoongi also started to cry. Jungkook turned around not wanting to look at this horror, hardly breathing. The sadness he felt for this dear people, it killed him. Even in such a short time, they became close, like family. Only close people Namjoon, Yoongi, Taehyung and Jungkook had, since their home and family was destroyed.
