Chapter 26

Jungkook's POV

When I came by the cottage, I was really surprised to see Jimin and the king sitting by the fire, since it was already dark. At first, I stood still, not knowing should I go back or stay. When I told the guys about this "trip" with Jimin, I was a little bit nervous, I didn't want to leave them behind while I'm going somewhere to relax. But when they heard that I'm going with Jimin, they immediately urged and told me excitedly "Go, go." It really surprised me, I thought they would be against it, but they urged me to go.

I snapped out of my thoughts when Jimin called for me, he noticed me.

"Jungkook-aa! Hey, come sit with us." Jimin said all smiley. I went closer to them, and bowed to the king saying "Your majesty."

The king chuckles and says "No need for you to be so formal with me, think like we are out of duty, just call me Mr. Seongjong." I smile at his response and just say "Alright, Mr. Seongjong."

I take a sit, joining Jimin and the king by the fire.

"Are you warm enough, Jungkook?" Jimin asked me.

I nod, I keep thinking about if this is right for me to go. I mean, people here notice. What if they misunderstood my closeness with Jimin, what if they think I am taking advantage of him, or they start to talk bad about Jimin. I am just a simple guy, while he's the prince.

it's not fair to my friends or the other people working in the castle, while I am here enjoying with the prince and the king.

"Is something wrong, Jungkook?" Jimin asks me, notices me being occupied with some thoughts.

"Mr. Seongjong, Jimin, I am not alright." I say.

"Why is that? What's bothering you?" Jimin asks.

"Should I go back?" I ask.

"Why?" Jimin asks.

"I'm beginning to get scared, what if people see us and misunderstood my relationship with you, Jimin. Maybe, thinking if I'm taking advantage of you or..." I say.

"Jungkook, did you not come here to be alone and to be far from anything?" Jimin asks me.

"Yes, but I am not alone. I am with the prince and the king. What if people start to talk, I am just a simple guy, while you are royalty." I said.

"Jungkook, you can't live like that. Go back, but only if YOU want to, but not because if somebody else will say anything. Do you really want to go back?" Jimin says.

"I don't want to go back." I say.

"Alright than it's end of discussion. Forget about your worries for a little bit, and just try to relax." Jimin says, how does he do that, always manage to reassure me. I give him a smile and nod, agreeing.

In the early morning we arrive in the village, Jimin and Mr. Seongjong were guiding me, we are all riding on our horses. After a few more minutes, we stop in front of the house. It's a normal size bricked house.

"Alright. We are here. This is my caregiver's Sung-hoo house. Come, over here up this stairs." Jimin says, and we all get off our horses, and than points at stairs, we go up the stairs and now we are on the big terrace, and there are three doors that leads to the rooms, I guess. It's a very simple house.

"Uncle Sung-hoo! Uncle!" Jimin calls for his caregiver/uncle. And the older man with a big smile comes out from one of the door.

"Oh, my dear Jiminie and my dear friend is here!" Sung-hoo greets them excitedly, and leans in to hug them.
