Chapter 49

Third person's POV

The ambulance immediately came and drove Jimin with the neighbor sitting by his side. They quickly rushed Jimin to the examination room, while neighbor was now waiting in the waiting room. He went to receptionist and gave her Jimin's phone and his bag, for her to call Jimin's friends or family. The receptionist did just that, she found Seokjin's number as Jimin's emergency number. She told Seokjin what happened, and he immediately called Hoseok and they both rushed out of their apartments to the hospital. 

At the same time, in Jungkook's apartment...

He was enjoying in his fresh made coffee, reading the news on his iPad, when Namjoon came in, greeting Jungkook "good morning" and immediately walked towards the kitchen to pour himself a cup of coffee. 

"Namjoon, did you find the man who tried to kill Jimin? What happened, still nothing?" Jungkook asked. 

"No, seems like the man quickly disappeared as soon as he ran away from the office. It wasn't even much time for someone to see him or even know what happened." Namjoon. 

"So Eunwoo got rid of him fast, so we couldn't tail him to lead us to Eunwoo." Jungkook said. 

"So we lost the lead again on him." Namjoon said. 

"We will find him, and we do find him, I'll grab him by his neck, skin him alive while he is watching and pull all the organs out of him. He'll pay for everything." Jungkook said. 

Back to the hospital...

Seokjin and Hoseok both came in at the hospital at same time, a complete worry painted in both their faces. The neighbor saw them and recognized them, since they often come to Jimin's apartment, so he seen them in the hallway before.

Seokjin and Hoseok didn't know what happened, just what the nurse receptionist told them, that the neighbor brought Jimin to the hospital. 

"What happened, Mr...." Hoseok asked. And the neighbor continued to say "Mr. Davis. I don't know, when I was going to work and walking towards the stairs, that new neighbor who just moved in, he ran towards me all frantic, yelling that your friend fell and than I saw him unconscious already at the end of the stairs, he must've slip or something." 

"Oh, my..." Both Seokjin and Hoseok said at the same, putting the hand on their mouths, tears already building in their eyes. They turn around when the examination room opens, doctors moving Jimin somewhere.

"Doctor, doctor, how is our friend?" Seokjin asked. 

"He is in a critical state. He hit his head badly. We are going to do an MR. He is bleeding profusely. We have to stabilize his condition. Than we'll operate." The doctor said. 

"And the baby?" Hoseok asked. 

"We are trying to save them both. Have patience." The doctor said and left. 

An hour passed, and the operation is still lasting...

While the doctors are doing everything in their power to safe Jimin and the baby, Jungkook at the same time is now in his office, with Taehyung, trying to call Jimin for the meeting they are having in 20 minutes, not knowing that his Jimin is fighting for his life. 

While Jimin in his lost concussion, get's lost in the dream. 

The dream....

Jimin is in the park, watching his little son from the distance swinging on the swing and smiling towards him. When all of a sudden the little boy starts to run, and Jimin is calling for him and starts to run to catch him. But than the little boy stops, when he sees his appa Jungkook with his arms open, little boy runs towards Jungkook, and Jungkook picks his son up and hugs him tightly, while Jimin is watching a beautiful sight in front of him.
