The Past In The Present - JIKOOK

Chapter 23

(*Let's give a name to Mr. Eun-Jeong's horse, since it's now Jungkook's. The horse's name is Zephyr, and the horse is black)

One week later

The day finally arrived of the audition. The past week, Jungkook, Namjoon, Taehyung and Yoongi were training hardly, with Jimin observing them. They managed to learn the basic stuff of everything they were going to need if they want to pass this audition. 

Now Jungkook, Namjoon, Taehyung and Yoongi were in line for an audition. So many people came, they saw the king and Jimin sitting on the throne. They will be watching. 

"Silence, silence." A royal captain said with his sternly voice, and in second all the people went silence. 

The royal captain was an older man, he's done a lot battles, a lot wars, a lot of protection for the royals. Right now he walked right and left, observing each one of the man who are standing in front of him. 

"You will ensemble swiftly and silently. Anyone who acts otherwise will answer to me." The royal captain said. 

"Uuuu, tough guy." Some smarty pants said, thinking the royal captain didn't hear him, but he did. 

The captain now holds the arrow, first pointing at the smarty pants, who gulps, but than the captain shoots the arrow to the top of very high log. He gives the smarty pants the weight in both his hands, and told him to climb the log with them to retrieve an arrow. 

The smarty pants is so full of himself, walks closer to the log. He starts to climb, only to fall on his nose. Than another one tries, than another. Most of them fail, most of them succeed, most of them got to the middle, but still fail. Yes, Jungkook, Yoongi, Namjoon and Taehyung are in group who succeeded. 

The next task was Kendo, where the mind and spirit has to be the one. 

"Remember, that your mind and spirit has to be synced. Now you all got your sticks, repeat the moves after me." The captain does all those amazing moves, students are watching him in awe. 

Jimin is looking directly at Jungkook, Namjoon, Taehyung and Yoongi. He smirked in himself, they are very good for beginner students. He trained them well, and they are also fast learners. Jimin just knows, that captain is also impressed with those four. 

Than there was archery. Shooting with the gun. Hand to hand combat. Martial arts. 

It was finally finished. The 36 soldiers picked out of thousands, and the boys made it. 

Now the ones who passed, had the rest of the day off to say goodbye to their families. Because from tomorrow, they will be living in the palace. 

While the guys went to rest for a little bit, Jungkook took a little stroll with Zephyr to the Jimin's cottage. When he came there, he picked out the kendo stick and trained again. He than took a bow and arrow, and to make things more complicated, he placed apples on highest spots he could find, and shoot them. He liked to challenge himself, though he just missed one out of five, it was still good. 

He got startled when a voice from behind him said "Good shot." He knew who's voice is that, it's Jimin's. 

Jungkook turned to look at Jimin, who smiled and he smiled back. 

"Haven't you trained enough for today, hmm?" Jimin asked. 

"Can't be ever too good, always work harder." Jungkook said. 

"That's true. Btw, you did amazing today. You and your friends. Congratulations." Jimin said. 

"Thank you, we had a great teacher, your majesty." Jungkook teasingly bowed, and Jimin chuckled.
