it was december 6th the day of spains first round of 16 game
i was in the locker room with gavi when the game was starting
i got to sit in the bench for this game so i was happy i got to be closer to gavi
the first half ended and it was still 0-0
everyone was pissed and the coach gave the boys a ted talk and soon the game started up again
unfortunately the game ended with spain losing in penalties. meaning that they were out of the world cup
i went to go try and comfort pablo
"hey amor" i pulled him into a hug while he was crying
"it isn't your last world cup there will be many more for you okay?" pablo just nodded while he dug his face on my neck
after an hour or so, pablo and i left walking holding hands
as we we're about to go to where the public was he pulled my wrist "wait they are going to question why we are holding hands and figure out we are dating"
"it's okay amor what you need right now is for someone to comfort you okay so i don't really care if i get death threats i just want you to be okay" i told gavi pulling his hand back to mine
once we left we were swatted with fans questioning us i even heard a girl say "you guys can't be dating he's mine"
once we finally got to his apartment i put on a movie and pablo just cried in my arms
he eventually fell asleep and i packed his things to leave tomorrow
it was the next morning and i woke up pablo to drive him to the airport
"amor i don't wanna leave you" pablo pouted getting in the car
"i know i know but it's gonna be okay because i'm going to be calling you every single day"
we finally got there and i cried a little because i wouldn't be seeing pablo for a couple days
we finally said our goodbyes and pablo left back to spain
a couple days later
argentina has had 2 more games since australia and they have won both
the most stressful one was netherlands because we tied and went into penalties but we won 4-3
but i think pablo was more stressed than me since we were on facetime he was biting all his nails
argentina made it to the finals and we were going against france
it also means we were going against dembele and kounde
the game started and in the 23rd minute messi got a penalty and he made it
36th minute macallistar passed to di maria who made the goal
all i can remember is shouting so loudly and getting teary eyed a little
half time came up and i asked julian to take a picture of me to post onto my story
