Zee's POV

"Bye Zee , see you tomorrow .." said Max as he pat my back. I nod as Prem waved to me making me chuckle , waving back. I sigh , packing my bag and soon heard footsteps approaching me making me lift my head up to see Khun Nu in front of me.

"Khun Nu .." I said , surprised to see him in front of me.

"Have dinner with me." He said coldly , throwing me aback.

"S-Sorry ?" I asked , thinking that I didn't hear him right.

"I don't take no for an answer." He said.

"K-Krub .." I stuttered making him turn to walk away. I quickly grabbed my bag , following him.

I looked at Khun Nu who was busy looking at the menu. I look around the restaurant and soon turned back to Khun Nu.

"Are you just going to stare at me like I am the menu ?" He asked , still looking at the menu. I look away , clearing my throat. He sigh , placing the menu down , looking at me coldly.

"Have you decided what you're going to eat ?" He asked and I nodded. He then raised his hand and soon the waiter came.

"What can I get you both tonight ?" Asked the waiter.

"One carbonara spaghetti and .." he said looking at me.

"One fish and chips .." I said as the waiter nod.

"What about drinks ?" Asked the waiter.

"Uhm , one lemon tea .." I said as I then look at Khun Nu.

"One red wine , the best you have .." He answered as the waiter nod before taking the menu , walking away. Khun Nu then looked at me as I cleared my throat. Soon silence filled the air as Khun Nu kept staring at me with his arms folded. I shake my leg , feeling somewhat nervous.

After a while , our food came as we then started eating without saying anything to each other.

Nunew's POV

I look at Zee as he ate. Soon his words from last night crossed my mind.

"I really am worried about you but how could you treat someone who is worried about you like this."

"You made Zee angry , just because you weren't being appreciative enough."

"And plus , poor Zee , you've been torturing him from the start of this new project of yours .."

"Ahh .... he must have felt frustrated when you keep rejecting his work .."

I placed my fork down making a loud cling sound coming from plate. Zee slowly looked up from his food as I bite my inner cheek.

"Are you mad at me because of what I said to you last night ?" I asked , breaking the silence.

"Mad ?" He asked.

"Why would I-."

"Then why did you ignore me the whole day ?" I asked , throwing him aback.

"You did not look at me like usually do when you are reporting to me. When I asked you about things , you didn't look at me when answering." I said as I then leaned forward , leaning on my elbow.

"Were you hurt with what I said last night ?" I asked.

"Maybe a little.." he answered making me look at him as my eyes softened slightly.

"But don't worry Khun Nu , it's fine .." he said , smiling slightly. I then realized I was feeling soft all of a sudden. I cleared my throat , sitting up as I rubbed my neck. I folded my arms , looking at him coldly.

"I am sorry." I said making him look at me.

"I should have been more appreciative with what you did for me last night when I had a headache." I said before continuing to eat. I then realized he was looking at me with a small smile on his face making me frown.

"What are you looking at huh ? Do you want me to poke your eyes ?" I asked ,threatening him making him shake his head.

"Then eat .." I said softly as I then nod at his food , earning a chuckle from him. I glance at him as he ate making me smile a little.

Zee's POV

I look out the window as we drove past a few buildings.

"Why are you all stiffed ? You've been in the car yesterday." I turned to Khun Nu who was driving.

"It's nothing krub .. just that I am not used to being in such luxurious car , I am always on my motorcycle." I answered.

"Then ... why don't you think of Qilin as your bike ? I am afraid if you keep being stiff like this , you'll freeze for real." He said making me chuckle.

"Khun Nu , Do you like making this type of jokes ?" I asked as he glare at me.

"Which way ?" He asked as I looked to the front.

"Just straight ahead." I said as he drove straight. Soon we stopped in front of my house. I unbuckle my seatbelt as Khun Nu did the same. We got out of the car as he looked at my house.

"This is where you lived ?" He asked and I nod , walking over to him.

"It's not as big as your house but it's comfortable .." I said.

"Tell me one thing Khun Zee. Why must you stay at a place where there is a graveyard not far from here. Aren't you scared ?" He asked making me look at him , chuckling.

"No krub .. it's actually not that scary .." I said and soon saw his expression change. I then realized that he was fiddling with his arm as he looked around the place. I then smirk slightly as an idea popped up.

"Khun Nu ... I have to warn you ..." I said making him look at with a frown.

"Usually .. people who drives late at night here , they would see a figure .. a tall white one .. they said it would usually disturb people who's car are luxurious ones .." I said making his eyes widened.

"They said the thing would usually , knock on the car window , three times .." I whispered making him look around , breathing hard.

"And then .... BOOM !" I shouted making him scream in fear , holding my arm tightly as he hide his face. I then chuckled as he slowly looked at me.

"Khun Nu .. are you afraid of ghosts ?" I asked as he soon realized that I was teasing him. He then hit my arm hard making me yelp , rubbing the spot.

"Jerk." He said as I laughed.

"Funny huh ? Do you want your salary to get cut off ?" He asked as I quickly stopped laughing , shaking my head. He glare at me , sighing.

"Then I'll make my way in first .. drive safely Khun Nu .." I said as he then nod. I smile before walking to my gate. I then stop my tracks , turning to him.

"Thank you for today , Khun Nu." I said , smiling slightly before going in.

Nunew's POV.

My cheeks burn started burning up a little making me smile slightly. I soon heard a dog bark making me jump in my place. I looked around , scared. I quickly went into my car before driving away.

Aoww , our Khun Nu already made up with out Zee 🥺 & I didn't expect behind that cold eyes lives a scaredy-cat 😜 HAHA hope you enjoy this chapter naaa~
