Zee's POV.

I look at my ring , sighing as I look up to the sky.

"Hey .." I turned seeing Janis as I smile. She slowly sat down beside me , holding her bump.

"You've been out here for quite sometime already so Mom told me to check on you." She said as I look down to my ring.

"I don't know what to do Jan .." I said as she look at me.

"Seeing Khun Nu like this. It pains me too. It hurts me as much as it hurts him." I said.

"You know it's like we want to be with each other but for some reason , I don't think we can." I continued.

"Zee , you have to continue fighting na .." she said as I sigh.

"I don't think me and Khun Nu have the energy to fight anymore , Janis .." I said.

"As much as we do .. we're not that strong .." I said looking at her as she sigh. She then held my shoulder , squeezing it.

"Zee .. in this world .. there are things we can't have .. but eventually you'll have to learn to let go and accept it .." She said.

"I know you and Khun Nu love each other .. and I know how tired you both are .." she said.

"Is it wrong for me to love him?" I asked.

"To people's eyes , maybe. But there's nothing wrong to love you know." She said making me sigh.

"You know the best thing to do for your him and you know what's the best for yourself too." She said.

"It's your choice to make." She continued as I nod. She then leaned her head against my shoulder as I leaned my head on hers , looking at my ring.

Nunew's POV.

I fixed Khun Yáy's blanket , sighing as I look at her pale face. Soon my phone started buzzing making me grabbed my phone out from my pocket. I look down to the screen.

I swiped my thumb across the screen , placing my phone next to my ear.

"Hey , where are you ?" I asked.

"I am at yesterday's place , where we talked. Can we meet for a while ?" He asked making me hum and soon hung up. I look at Khun Yáy before walking out of the room. I walked to the open space at the hospital , seeing Zee.

"Hey .." I said making him turn. He smile weakly as I stood in front of him. He then grabbed both of my hand , holding them tightly.

"What's wrong ?" I asked as I look at him , realizing there was something wrong.

"There's something I like to talk about .." he said as I nod , slowly.

"I have thought about it ...and I think this is not going to work between us .." he said making me frown.

"What ? What are you talking about ?" I asked.

"It wouldn't do good if you were selfish and choose to leave your grandmother for me." He said as tears welled up in my eyes.

"Zee .. what are you doing ? ..." I asked , breathing shakily.

"I know your love family .. and she's the only family you got .. losing her will hurt you even more and I don't want you to be hurt anymore .." he said as I shook my head , closing my eyes as I let the tears go.

"And you won't feel the pain anymore if I let you go .." He said as I look at him.

"Zee .. don't do this .. please .." I begged as I let out a sob. He caress my cheek , smiling weakly.

"She's your grandmother .. she's getting older each day .. and someday she won't be here .. you need to fulfil her favor and that is to be with Rain." He said as I shook my head , trying not to believe him.

"I love you .. please don't leave me .." I sobbed softly as he smile softly.

"Let's break up na ..." he said as I cried softly , trying not believing him.

"Zee .." I said as he shake his head , wiping my tears.

"Please do as you must .. for me .." he said as I held his hand that was on my cheek.

"No matter what , I'll always love you .." he continued.

"You have to let me go .." he said softly making me shake my head.

"Mai aow .. I am not letting you go .." I sobbed , holding his hand tightly.

"Khun Nu .." he said as I shook my head.

"Please don't leave me ... please ..." I sobbed as he look at me.

"I love you .. please don't leave me .. I need you .." I sobbed as he then shook his head , cupping my cheeks as he slowly placed a kiss on my forehead.

"I'm sorry .." he said softly as he then slowly let go of my hand. He then slowly walked away as I then shook my head , running towards him. I hugged him from the back , crying as I didn't want him to go.

"I love you Zee , please don't go." I muffled. He then slowly grabbed my arms , turning around.

"We have to face it ... we both lost." He said as I looked at him , shaking my head. He sigh , trying to hold back his tears as I held his hand tightly , sobbing.

"This is .. the best for us .." he said as he caress my cheek.

"Zee .." I said shakily as he smile weakly. He kissed my knuckles before pulling my hand away from his. He then stormed out of the place , leaving me standing there. I clutch my fist , breaking down into tears. I stood there , sobbing as I held my head.

I sat on the bench outside of Khun Yáy's room weakly as tears stream down my face uncontrollably. I then look down to my ring and I soon broke down into tears. I covered my mouth , muffling my sobs as my shoulder shake uncontrollably. Soon I felt a hand on my shoulder making me turn to see Rain. Rain looked at me as I then let out a sob , leaning my head on his shoulder as he rubbed my back. I clutch my hand that had my ring on against my chest tightly , sobbing hard.

Rain's POV.

I look down at Nunew who was sobbing uncontrollably in my arms. I sigh , rubbing his back.

- a few minutes ago -

"I am going to break up with Khun Nu." He said making me look at him.

"But just know I am not doing this for you or Khun Yáy. I am doing this for Khun Nu and myself. This is the best for us." Said Zee as he look down to his ring. He then sigh , breathing in and out before turning to me.

"Promise me that you'll take care of Khun Nu for me." He said.

"Zee .. I-."

"Please take care of him. No matter what." He said and I sigh , nodding. He then nod , patting my back as he then walked away. I look at him ,sighing.

- present -

I held Nhu tightly against me , caressing his head as he sobs.

"I am so sorry Nunew .." I thought , sighing.

I am moving houses as my current house is going under renovations 🥳 so I won't be able to upload any chapters tomorrow.
